I stopped in for a late breakfast, but ended up having the steak sandwich which was on special. It took close to 30 minutes to come out. The steak was tough and barely seasoned. The "home fries" (supposedly hand cut French fries) were made with inferior potatoes but were hot and edible. The piece of Texas toast under the steak was almost inedible. In the hour I was there, the waitress went outside for a smoke at least 3 times. I should point out the place was empty when I got there (approximately 11:45) and while I was there 2 other people came in and sat at the VLTs. The place is definitely a dive bar, but not in a good way. It had a grungy feel about it. Not a pleasant atmosphere at all. The last straw came when I went to pay my bill and was informed they wanted to charge me $1 to use the machine. I paid cash, tipped the waitress, and let them know I would not be going back.

Great hole in the wall bar and grill on 17th Ave SE. The staff were very nice, atmosphere was enjoyable. The music wasn't to loud so you could have a conversation without screaming. The food was great. Got the 5 Apps for $38 plus a large chicken caesar salad and a burger with fries and gravy. The gravy reminded me of the very yummy high school gravy, which I was very pleased to find out. ? ? ? ? ? ? onion rings, potato skins, deep fried pickles, and the steak bites were all so good. Had ro take a couple of boxes homeof leftovers but so glad we did. The burger was even better then next day for dinner. First burger I've ever had that you could eat the day after. ???? Will definitely go there again very soon, and always remember to bring cash, it's the best currency since we have to have one.

I tried the food a few times when it was available and a cook was there to make items on menu. Was not impressed one time by anything we ordered to eat. Staff was not very friendly and we waited forever for service a couple times despite it being a smaller pub. Gets quite busy with local jams and live music which was fun to dance and listen too. ????
Went to 80 ATE Indo Chinese restaurant to pick up some packages as instructed by the shipper. The establishment was closed. I then went to the pub and grill next door and they assisted me in reaching the proprietor of 80 ATE.... When the proprietor took a long time I decided to stay for a beer. The staff was friendly and accommodating, I will be returning.
