We dined in here last month and I just posted this review. Overall, service, ambiance and the food were amazing. Most of their dishes were good for sharing. You can taste the authenticity of Korean cuisine from their menu. Since we have a kid with us, there were some food items that were kids-friendly.

Visited Ssome on Fri night, it was my 3rd visit.What I liked the most was grilled pork feet. I usually get it from grocery store, which is sliced thinly but this one was cut into cubes, grilled nicely, a lot of flavor. It went so well with spicy dipping sauce, it’d be perfect for beer! Their fried chicken was also so good, it was as good as Korean fried chicken shops, if not better. Outside was so crispy, chicken was juicy and soy sauce flavored sauce was just delicious! We also got pork bone soup, it was ok, I’d love more veggies in it, pork bone soup should have potato and perilla seeds, none of those were in the soup, only veggie in the pot was bean sprout.Their potion size is extra large, chicken and pork feet was enough for 5-6 ppl. Which is good and bad because if you come with 2 ppl, you would not want to order more than 1 dish…as it is a LOT and also each item is pricy because of the potion.Another thing is that they do not serve side dishes. To me, I like having side dishes at Korean restaurant so it was a bit disappointing. Also, even you order hot pot, rice is not included.With that being said, everything tastes great, I wish potion was smaller but value to the price was not bad. Service was really good, servers were prompt and friendly. I’d definitely come back again.Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian appetizers.

To me this is one of my favorite Korean pochas. Good food, cute and great servers and good drinks. It's homey and comfortable.Came here again, but for the last time and it never disappoints. From the service to the food it has always be delicious. I love their 매운족발 not alot of places in Calgary can make this really good and I only know 2 and one of them is this place. Their grilled samgyupsal(삼겹살) and jaeyukbokkeum(제육볶음) was really good too. The portions are really nice here and they don't skimp out. Highly recommend for both Canadians, tourists and of course Koreans to this lovely place as I will miss it.

One of my favourite Korean restaurants :)! My favourite dish is the spicy rice cake with cheese and noodle! The pork cutlet is also very yummy.The place can get really warm/stuffy and leave a smell on your clothes. Tables are really tall for some of the seating area. Aside from that I really love this place!

Came here with my girlfriend this evening and we were both excited to try this place. We got seated right away but got no service at all. They didn’t even come to the table to ask us if we were ready to order. Even the people that got seated after us got their orders taken and no one had even come to our table to ask us. We got up and left to go eat somewhere else with better service.

This restaurant made me feel like I am back in Korea. The food is really good but be aware that the serving is pretty big - good for 3-5 persons (depending on how much you eat). Great service and I love that they are open past 12mn.
Highly recommend corn cheese, if you're looking for a great late-night casual hangout spot, definitely check out this place. It has a similar pub vibe with a Korean background. A place you can throw back a few drinks, enjoy some good food & conversation with a couple of friends. The staff here is super friendly, and the service was great. Price reasonable. I will recommend this place?

Oh man, last summer, me and two buddies hit up Ssome Korean Restaurant, and it was a total blast! The place had such awesome vibes, and the food was seriously delicious. Not to mention, the service was on point – both the kitchen staff and servers were top-notch. And let me tell you about the in-house Yakult Soju; it's hands down some of the best stuff, but you gotta be careful 'cause it can sneak up on you real quick!All in all, it's got this charming touch to it that just pulls everything together. I'm definitely going back for more – no doubt about it!
I ordered Osam Bulgogi (around $42) for delivery. No rice, no kimchi or any other typical sides which come with the main dish. Nothing! This is a totally rip-off. For this price any good Korean restaurant in Calgary would be a whole lot better. Do not order from them!!!
