My husbands pork chop was still raw in the centre. When he shared this with the waiter, it was agreed the meat was under cooked in error. No one came to speak to us about this error, however the manager authorized to have $9.00 taken off the bill for the raw meat served. Absolutely disgusting… will never be back and will not recommend this place to others. Not the type of service we were anticipating.

Overpriced, portion sizes for price aren't great, food wasn't amazing, the service was good. I did like the atmosphere.

My food was cold and I’m actually writing this review, sitting at the table, with my entire family having finished their meals. Still waiting. It’s Easter brunch and they have a special menu with 8 items on it… I’m staggered that I’m having to downgrade my prior review. The serving team is running their butts off. I have no idea how the kitchen is struggling.. as it’s not even that busy (based on my experience, I can see why).Truly disappointed. Mistakes happen, I get that. The inability to re-serve a single dish in an appropriate amount of time is what is so disappointing.Post meal update: Instead of enjoying time out with my family on Easter Sunday, I’m annoyed and bothered my this…Furthermore, you upset my 94 year old grandmother. She wanted to do something ‘fancy’ and that didn’t work out… She ended up just telling us stories of what the restaurant should have been doing in this situation (she’s an amazing Polish lady that ran kitchens and restaurants her whole life).☹️☹️

As usual the food was excellent. The service, however was extremely slow. It appeared that our waiter was also the bartender and we took second place. The server was friendly and attentive when he was there. We expect more when we are paying top dollar.

This is the second time we have experienced a long wait (50 mins) for our food and for it to arrive cold. It seems as though they don't have enough staff on the floor to run food out. The hollandaise on my salmon benedict had a second skin on it from sitting and I could barely cut through my English muffin it was so hard. It's a shame the support isn't there for the staff as the menu options are so great and the location is so close for us.

The food is beyond tasteless and bland. I don’t know how this place is still running. The garlic bread was burnt and had to send it back. The burgers and sandwiches were questionable. Definitely need to upgrade their menu and change the chef. What a waste of money. The way the management reacts to reviews is so Poor. Calling my account a spam when I’ve been using this account since 2018. Do better and accept criticism

This was the first visit to StarBelly. I would have given higher marks except for two things. Number 1 my food could have been hotter it was only warm. The second thing is the noise level from the music was much too loud. The quality if the food was good and well presented so we will return. Our serve was excellent so sorry I've forgotten her name.

Felix’s water pouring skills were almost as amazing as his bartending skills, I’ve never been to a more attentive and effective bar/restaurant in my life. As somebody who has worked in the industry for a long time I was amazed by Josh’s attention to detail. Josh was so kind and funny and he was very chill with my fleet of annoying questions. The drinks were amazing I highly recommend the winters negroni for my bitter loving fans it was hands down the best negroni I’ve ever had! The food was absolutely amazing their Valentine’s Day special was worth every penny. I highly recommend the oysters they were rich and flavourful. I wish I took some pictures to show off but the food was so good, I couldn’t help digging in right away. Overall my first experience was amazing and I will definitely be coming back.Food 5/5Service 5/5Atmosphere 5/5Drinks 5/5Cleanliness 5/5Location 5/5 (very visible from the main road)Dietary restrictions: They were very understanding with my egg allergy and the food was still amazingParking: Lots of parking, still managed to find a spot easily even though it was a packed Friday nightWheelchair accessibility: 100% wheel chair access

I had booked an event in the private room and had contracted out specific food (i.e. Romaine Ceaser) and a 3 course meal for my guests. Unfortunately, what came out was a Kale Ceaser - which my guests did not enjoy or eat and no dessert. Effectively, I paid for a 3 course meal and got only 2 courses.I have been in contact 3 times since the date of the event and have not received a response from them in regards to the mishap - I called when I got home from the evening, once I realized the error. I emailed 2 days after, hoping someone would reach out. and I emailed 2 weeks after.Someone did email my team to offer a $150 gift card - my response was across the 26 meal we were charged, that would mean they are valuing the dessert at $5.77 (which would have included the tax and autograt that I was charged).Food was decent and mistakes happen - however, the test of any establishment is the response to any negative feedback.

We have been to Starbelly many times, but never again. We had a very disappointing experience when we tried to get a table on a Friday evening with our 9-year-old, as a treat.Understanding that Starbelly can be quite busy, we had looked online before arriving and there were reservations available for the next several time slots. As we were only a couple minutes away we figured it would be silly to reserve a table when there were clearly multiple tables available. But when we arrived, the hostess claimed the restaurant was “completely full” full stop. Not even the option to put our names in a list or “there’s a wait of [so many] minutes”, just “full”. It was bewildering, because I could literally have booked a reservation for three minutes later (or any of the multiple available timeslots for the next hour) while standing in the entryway.I’m not sure if Starbelly has a rule to not allow children later in the evening (it was around 8pm), because that’s the only reason I can think of for being turned away. But if so, it’s not communicated anywhere I found and this wasn’t handled well by the staff. Why lie about this? We left disappointed and confused and feeling pretty crappy. I reached out to Starbelly to see if there is some policy I’m not aware of, but I’ve been ignored. So, long story long, never again. I’ll take my money elsewhere and I’ll share my experience with my friends.

The bacon wrapped dates were amazing as was my charred grapefruit cocktail. Tuna appetizer good. Lamb so-so. Lobster ravioli so-so (the mushroom gnocchi is better). Sticky toffee pudding amazing. Crème brûlée so-so. Overpriced meal for three so-so dishes in my opinion!
