Just picked up the Starbucks Guatemala Casi Cielo and it’s amazing. Medium roast with such a smooth balance the bright Meyer lemon notes really pop, and the cocoa nib finish makes it feel rich but not heavy. Perfect as a morning brew or an afternoon pick-me-up. Starbucks nailed it again with this single-origin coffee!

I come here a decent amount and since the Reno staff have been not the best. Consistency is not the same and they just don’t listen. I asked for a vanilla bean frap with frap roast that I regularly get. Kaitlyn (orange hair) after ringing up what I asked for changed it to a coffee frap add whip add vanilla bean. I’m a collage kid just wanting a drink not a $2 price increase on an already expensive coffee the younger staff here are the good ones.

I used to go out of my way to come to this location. I don’t know what happened but this location can’t make a latte. Even asking for extra flavour does save their bland coffee. My orders are consistently wrong. I am now going out of my way to avoid this location to ensure I get a decent coffee

Employee was treated horribly by another employee.
I visited March 8, 2025 at around 11 AM. It was my first time visiting this location. I did a mobile order and when I went to pick it up, my order was made wrong, they made a grande instead of a venti. Mistakes happen that’s fine and it was very busy inside. I realized I forgot to get a straw so I went back inside and they had none available for the public to grab one. I was gonna ask one of the baristas but since it took so long to get one of their attention when they made my order wrong, I decided to just wait in line and ask the cashier for one. A young boy with long hair was the cashier. The straws were in the back corner, where they were making the drinks and he tried to squeeze in and a woman with blonde hair who was making drinks told him in an unbelievably rude way to “move, move, get out of my way, go over there (back to the cash register)” and was gesturing her hands at him in such a rude way. I can’t believe one employee would treat another employee that rudely and I felt so bad that I asked him to get me a straw. I understand that it can get stressful when a lot of orders are coming in but that’s no excuse to treat another person that way. This is the last time I will visit this location and I really hope that young boy finds a job where he is treated much more respectfully.

Food is fine and all however the highlight certainly had to be the staff, atmosphere is lovely and cozy, a nice spot to study or “spill the tea” with friends. Most notably Isabel the staff was most wonderful, most often feel nervous or a condescending air going to Starbucks’ however the barista here was not just patient and kind but also welcoming and offered to help me manage my charges across my multiple gift cards. Lovely place, would gladly come again.
