We visited this Starbucks around 12:00PM today and ordered six drinks. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t meet the usual Starbucks standard, especially considering the price. One of my drinks, a caramel macchiato, tasted like watered-down coffee, so we had to go back to have it remade. The staff was nice and remade it without any issue, which we appreciated, but even the second version still wasn’t what you’d expect from Starbucks.
Our iced shaken espressos were also very bland, with barely any coffee flavor, and the hot chocolate we ordered (a tall) wasn’t filled to the top. Overall, the drinks were disappointing, and the quality just didn’t match what you normally expect when spending this much on coffee. I hope this was just an off day, because we usually enjoy Starbucks.
The customer service at this Starbucks location was exceptionally disappointing. Staff members did not display any friendliness or acknowledgment. We waited over 20 minutes for our order, yet no one appeared aware of it. There were no apologies or assistance offered during this time. I would advise against visiting this location and recommend patronizing establishments that prioritize customer satisfaction.

Drive through slow. No greeting at drive through. When you get to the window long stare with no talking. Handed machine to me with her back turned to me.

This location has always been slow, but today’s experience I am appalled by.
I went through the drive thru, it was backed up, as usual. As I got to the order box, I wasn’t greeted to take my order. I sat there for 2 mins before someone came on the speaker box. I order a Venti Non-Fat Chai Latte. Wait forever to get up to the window. I can see my drink sitting there, waiting for me. I’m ready with my app to pay. And the girl at the window, is looking at her phone, ignoring me. She finally finished with her phone, scans my phone, then hands me a GRANDE cup. I told her I ordered a Venti. She apologizes, takes the coffee back, and comes back 15 seconds later with a venti. I take one sip and immediately know the girl at the window dumped the grande latte into a venti cup and added HOT WATER to it. It was so watered down and disgusting! I park and go into the store to get it re-made properly, and as I’m waiting, I see the SAME window girl hand a grande to another drive thru customer, and the customer tells her it’s wrong, it should be a venti!!! Honestly, that girl needs to be fired and find a new job not in service!!!
Shout out to the other barista that re-made my drink, and the other window customers. Looks like you’ll be cleaning up her messes all day!

They got my order wrong, and to their credit they re-made it for me. The next time I visited they were extremely slow - nearly half an hour wait for 1 drink. With commercial equipment this is completely unacceptable even if I’m not first in the queue.

I’m 12 years old, and when I walked in, they forced me out complaining that they were “closed” even though the door was unlocked. Me and my dad went into the drive through, and the people in front of us got served but when it was our turn they didn’t serve us and we waited for 15 minutes. Also the people in front of us were white and we are black. I really like Starbucks and the food and drinks they have is quite delightful, but the service and atmosphere in the Douglas Square Starbucks was not welcoming.

I was overcharged by $5 after ordering 3 things. The mini everything bagels were also burnt. 👎🏻

Ordered a iced coffee from them and was given a hot coffee. Asked if they can switch into an iced coffee and refused to remake and made me pay for a second coffee. Unfriendly and unhelpful staff here.

I’ve been through the drive-thru a few times recently and noticed something odd with the payment prompts. The first couple of visits, the machine asked for a tip, no problem at all, the employees were nice and I know they work hard. On the third day, I went back for a coffee, but this time there was no tip option, just a prompt to tap, so I assumed maybe the store had stopped asking for tips.
The next day, though, the tip prompt came up again, which left me feeling a bit confused and wondering if, on the previous day, the person working the drive-thru (younger male) might have added a tip without me noticing?
Just a heads-up: always grab a receipt and double-check. I usually leave tips, but this experience has me feeling a little taken advantage of and questioning how many times this might have happened.
