*1/5 Stars - Disappointing Experience at Starbucks*

I'm extremely disappointed with my recent visit to the Starbucks location right across from my workplace. As someone who works in the same building, I've always appreciated the convenience of having a Starbucks nearby.

However, my latest experience was a letdown. I walked in and politely asked for a glass of water, but to my surprise, the barista informed me that I needed to make a purchase first. I was taken aback by this response, especially considering I'm a neighbor who frequently visits the store.

As a customer, I expect a basic level of courtesy and respect. Denying me a glass of water felt unwelcoming and unappreciative.

I hope the management takes my feedback seriously and reconsiders their policy on providing water to customers. Until then, I'll think twice before visiting this location again.

I placed a mobile order and went to pick up my order . When I got there, I ask a tall lady for a cup of water. She first said “one moment ” and I waited her for 5 minutes, but after 5 minutes she didn’t give me water and ask me to order at the front. I have to line up for the water, fine ! I line up. Then the cashier said they can’t give me water because I did not order anything else. ……so what the meaning of online order?! I placed mobile order for saving my time. The tall lady could just give me the water when I pick up my order. They don’t have to waste my 20 minutes just for a cup of water.

I had a fantastic experience at the Starbucks in Chinook! The staff was incredibly friendly and efficient, making my visit quick and enjoyable. The store itself was clean, well-organized, and had a cozy atmosphere, perfect for grabbing a coffee or relaxing for a bit. My drink was made perfectly, just the way I like it, and the selection of baked goods was fresh and delicious. Whether you’re in a hurry or looking to unwind, this Starbucks is a great spot. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in the area!

Mike and Ray are so friendly. I was in a grumpy mood but noticing how they acknowledge, joke and be social with each customer was really wholesome! You don’t see that often.

Poorly managed for how busy it was before Christmas.

1 girl working very hard to make drinks, and 4 other staff not working on drinks in a coffee shop …. Waited soo long, missed one of our drinks and had to get it made … lots of people complaining today.

I can’t have anything positive to say another than shame on your staff members for being extremely rude. We had come in towards the end of the night and already was a very small line of people my fiance who just needed a hot cup of water because our car lock was stuck waited in line for at least 5 mins , the cashier was to busy telling her life story to her friends to even acknowledge the line of people forming. My fiance figured since he needed just a hot cup of water and we would be out of there way he walked up to the barista for ignored him at first and snapped back saying it’s unfair to the other customers in line… are your serious? For a cup of hot water I’m sure people would understand! This has to be the worst location and because of that we will not ever be going back thankfully down the hall we were able to go to another shop who handed it to us right away no questions asked.

They need more staff, no rule in orders, got one coffee then waited 10 min for another one while they made 10 other ones for people who came after me. Also got way to much nutmeg in nog latte, it was super bitter and a bad aftertaste

The girl working there was mean. Said literally every other Starbucks location was breaking the rules for my typical drink.

I came here during a rush hour and Shirley was amazing! She was making all the drinks with no help and still tried to make connections with the customers and ask them how they are doing. There was one employee doing absolutely nothing and when she was asked to help she just stood there staring at her coworkers like she had no idea what they were saying. Other than that Shirley and the cashier were amazing and tried their best!

Y’all need to hire more, it took 20 minutes to get an americano through the app. This isn't fair to your employees.

Terrible service assuming new hire no customer service skills at all

Really good Starbucks! Generally busy for obvious reasons, but always consistent service and product. Never disappointed!

Kid-friendliness: It's in Chinook Mall, so pretty kid-friendly. They also offer cake pops.

I had an amazing experience at this Starbucks! The wonderful lady, Courtney, made me laugh and struck up a conversation with me, which isn’t something you usually expect from employees. It’s clear that the hiring manager here knows how to train their staff well, as everyone working was doing a fantastic job in a fast-paced environment. The whole team is wonderful!
