Food and Service was very good. The salmon with pistachios is always good. (My asparagus was a bit tough though). Husband's steak was cooked perfectly.

Very good food and good service but I had asked For balloons or some sort of birthday thing on the reservation and we got nothing not even the acknowledgment that it was for a birthday. was pretty disappointed

Always have amazing food here. The spicy tuna tartare is the most delicious thing ever. Patio is nice and kid friendly. Food is always good.

We were 6 ladies celebrating an upcoming wedding and had a great few hours at State & Main. Enjoyed some Happy Hour specials too.

We had a great server, despite it being a busy Friday night he was attentive and very helpful. Refills and second rounds offered and brought promptly. Lots of kids in the place competing with all the noise made it quite loud. Food was hot and fresh. Tasty bison burger on lettuce wrap. Gluten intolerant accommodated. Cooked to perfection, juicy and full of flavour. My partner had a beef dip. Way more bun than meat made it good for dipping. Patio was packed with long wait. We dined overlooking patio with open windows. Was perfect.

I made a reservation, we were seated and then sat for 10 minutes before anyone came to the table.i waved someone down, she came and said she will find our server, 5 minutes later I find myself waving down someone. We finally got a server, drinks took quite a while to arrive. Once our food showed up 2 out of the 3 dishes were warm (not hot). We finally had to waver our served down for the bill and that took another 10 minutes. The place was not busy so not sure why we received such poor service

We booked a reservation- we're seated right away. However no one came to bring us any water or even ask if we wanted drinks. We waited about 30 mins. Waitresses were going around every other table but never to ours. I had to go up to the host and ask if we can have someone come to our table. There was really no empathy - very disappointed in the experience

It started off a bit rough as took awhile to get a drink but the bartender came over and took our order. Our server was busy with a lot of tables, they could be short staffed. The noise is more than energetic it's super loud. It was a friends birthday and she didn't eat much of her meal as she said her steak was tough but liked the potatoes. My husband enjoyed his chicken burger as it was nice and spicy. My sushi and steak was ok the sauce the steak comes on is really spicy. Anyways our server was very pleasant and gave us great dessert advice which we took.

Great food, great drinks and great service! Only issue I had was the temperature on my steak. I'm paying $34 for a steak, so I was expecting more maybe? Steak was a little tough and overcooked (to my liking). Value wise, I felt the prices were a little high, but I love State & Main and will be back again! I would just order a different dish. Thank you!

A little disappointed that it was not acknowledged that we were there to celebrate a birthday even though I ticked that on the open table app. Also mentioned in front of waitress ‘let the birthday girl order first'. Aside from that all was good and we would likely return. Food was good, nice atmosphere 😀

It was great. We had some appies the Brussels sprouts, bang bang shrimps, sweet potato fries and lettuce chicken wraps... all of them really good ... a couple of drinks, the spicy honey margarita and a white sangria. Great service. We'l be back.

It was so loud we couldn't hear ourselves talk. And the table we sat at, was not conducive for conversation. It is a very popular restaurant, and I think if we had gone for lunch it may have been better experience. I have learned don't go to a pub if you don't appreciate noise. I realize for some that's why they go.
