There are good Subway's in Calgary, this is not one of them. Not fun to feel like you are bothering the staff once they finally acknowledge you.

Lady working today around 2pm was so lazy, rude and didn't even listen. Gave me the wrong cheese, wrong toppings, wrong every thing and then tried to skip the subway rewards part. Food was not good. Cookies were old burnt and hard as a rock. Avoid this location. Id understand if they were busy but there was 1 person getting 2 sandwiches and then myself in the store.

Showed up at 8:50pm, closes at 9:00pm. Someone was in there and shoed me away. Other reviews look the same way, unwelcoming. This was July 21, 2024, we were starving, hence why we even attempted food here, disappointing.

What is going on with location lately? More importantly, where is the owner/operator, and why do all of these terrible experiences remain unaddressed? This location has noticeably gone downhill in all aspects over the last while. The quality of service has especially fallen off, the product quality has worsened (compared to the westbrook location), staff seem to lack training (and a few of them common sense). Quite frankly the cost of everything has gone up too much for this level of apathy from management and employees to be anywhere near acceptable. It’s time for y’all to figure it out, and fast.

I’ve been to this location a few times. The guy that works there primarily nights is great. The two ladies on the day shift are horrendous. You constantly have to ask for more ingredients, they act like it’s coming out of their own pockets. Today I got 3 onions on only half of my footlong sub and 4 pickles and that’s the usual if you get those two workers. Hire better staff

Bread was hard

When attempting to eat the sandwich, the bread will break into pieces as shown in pic

Staff do not change their gloves
Everytime we go there, we have to explain that one of my kids have allergy and cannot take risk hence must have the gloves changed

Today the lady got upset after we asked her politely to replace the gloves
She resumed preparing the sandwish and ignored us until we kept asking
She became angry and make it very difficult for my kids to order, she argued that the previous sandwiches she prepared are the same of what we are ordering, which make it ok not to change the gloves! I told her that i saw what was in the previous sandwiches and my son have allergies, etc

This is after two attempts to order and both failed:
1) Ordering was painful. It was an excercise of "No". I left.
2) I was ignored for >three minutes (though I was able to read new products they "have", but based on experience, they will say "No." Never again.

My co-workers and I often get Subway, each taking turns to get go them. We always know when someone goes to this location because the BREAD IS ROCK HARD AND STALE almost every time! This has happened at least 4 ties in the last 3 months. They don't care about you getting a sandwich you can't even eat. I'm not very picky, and usually absolutely starving, but this is ridiculous that they serve bread this stale, I'm not kidding when I say you can't even eat it, and it leads me to believe the rest of their ingredients are probably not the freshest either.

I ordered food online when I arrived was ignored till they flipped around said name. And then tossed the subs on the counter and turned about around. It wasn’t a very pleasant exchange. I went home to eat and some of my meal isn’t in the bag and I’ve called twice only to catch the voicemail.

I can't think of many times I've been to a restaurant and felt like I was unwelcome.I walked into this location and was not busy. I was the only person there. The staff were no where to be seen. So I waited around for a few minutes and then a staff member appeared. He slowly walks to the order taking area avoiding eye contact. He puts on a pair of gloves. He is soft spoken, I think he said he'd be right with me. Then he walks over to the cash register and picks up a receipt and comes back to the order taking area. I'm already questioning my choice of coming to this location, so I decided I best order a plain, toasted sandwich. I didn't want to worry about having poor toppings. He puts my sandwich in the oven and then tells me he can take my payment. He rings me in on the debit machine which prompts for a tip. Seems strange a fast food restaurant prompts for tips. Since he had me pay while my sandwich was still being made I wondered if it was done that way and the tip influences the toppings on my sandwich. At this time the other employee comes out. Anyway, I only asked for sauce and he wrapped up my sandwich as he quietly spoke with the other emploee. He gives me my sandwich and I say thank you and leave. The staff member that served me interacted with me a little as possible and moved slower than anyone I've ever seen working in the food industry.I never observed any handwashing and the gloves worn while making my food was touching the register and then touching my food again. I felt like I was an inconvenience to the staff by being a customer. I was a bother to these people for coming in and ordering a plain sandwich. I won't be coming back. I wish I read the reviews before eating here.

It was great. A tad expensive tho $14 for a custom sub. Ur pitting albeit amazing and fresh ingredients on a piece of bread for 14 dollars??
