On Sunday, November 16th, 2025 at approximately 4:30 PM, I visited the Subway location in MacEwan Hall to purchase a meal. Unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing due to the behaviour of the staff member who assisted me.
Despite clearly requesting “easy sauce,” she added a significantly larger amount, which was concerning as I am not allowed to consume excessive sauce. When I politely asked her to cut the sandwich, she responded in a manner that made it seem as though she was doing me a favor rather than fulfilling a basic request.
Having previously worked in the fast-food industry myself, I understand the challenges that come with the job. However, I also believe that personal frustrations should not be directed toward customers. Respectful service is essential, as customers are the reason any business continues to operate.
I am sharing this feedback in the hope that it can help improve customer service moving forward.
