I can't say enough about Raksha and Anu. They have on multiple occasions been very friendly, personable, attentive and patient with my often complex orders. New managers & a bug problem.
In the past this location was great. However today there is an announcement of new management. And ordering my food, I saw a dozen fruit flies moving around on the glass over the (partially brown) veggies section, while it sounded like the new manager was lecturing someone in the back.
And then, I swear, I saw a piece of the orange cheese move and there was a large fruit fly shaped thing on it.
When I awkwardly decided to ask about the bugs to the person making my food they first pretended to not know about it (the glass is crawling in fruit flies, not one or two), so I took the time to point out 6 or 7. They then said oh yeah... and moved on to ask me if I want to buy a cookie - in an open container also seemingly with fruit flies. No I don't want your undercooked bug infested overpriced cookie.
I am pretty grossed out about this subway now.
This tells me that A) the coolers are not to temperature, B) there is something spoiled or vinegary that is accessible and C) the brown and over ripe veggies tells me this store is moving product ... slowly.
Days like today I am thankful I don't just rely on uber eats and can see the people making my food. I am however, dear reader, not to ashamed to say I still bought and tried to eat said sub. I took a few bites. But then just couldn't get it out of my mind and now the soggy limp $15 sandwich lives in my green bin.
Anyway, expensive, old, gross, going to not go here anymore I think.
