We ordered two mochi donuts from this bakery, the pistachio and tiramisu flavours and enjoyed them! The pistachio was my favourite, with a deliciously nutty flavour that stood out. Both donuts were fresh and had the chewy texture that you expect from mochi donuts. Planning to come back to try more flavours!

When I went on sucre Instagram, it has advertised that there will be free mochi donuts for the first 100 customers. I was very excited to it out and planned ahead to come super early before it's all gone. I walked for 35 min with my friend out in the cold early morning to get there. We arrived at 8 AM, and plans to buy some bakery along with a free donut; however, the cashier said that it doesn't start until 10 AM. We were disappointed as it says it's for the first 100 customer and did not mentioned anything about starting at 10AM. We are not going to wait for 2 hours. We just left and walked back with nothing. I think that the advertisement should be accurate before it's shared onto the media. I felt like there must be people who looked at the same post and came and then left with disappointment. Anyways, this is the best bakery in Calgary to be honest, I came for their pastry's and cake before and it was amazing. Like 6/5... however, it's hard to give it a 5 star due to this experience that me and my friend got to go through.

I like Sucre! I buy cakes for friends and families here most of the time coz of the quality and affordability. Last visit with my sister we got their banoffee pie and croissant and coffee. Everything is good.

We ordered through Uber eats a box of 6 assorted croissants. We received these flavors: 2 almond, 2 chocolate, 1 strawberry and 1 large muffin. It was around 4pm, so i do understand that it was the end of the day for the bakery and maybe not so many flavors left. However, as for taste, the croissants were dry, no flavor at all and they were cracking in my hands. For me, I do love a fluffy croissant that melts and that you can easily dip in a cup of coffee! The dough was mostly plain and only a bit of filling in the middle. The muffin was more of a buttery taste and the jam looks like an old store jam! Didn’t like these croissants at all! Was expecting a completely different taste!
As for the price, we paid almost $30 for these 6 croissant which is definitely overrated!
Maybe, if I visited the store in person and during an early morning my experience would change?! But, definitely not ordering a delivery from this store again:(

I ordered a cake for my daughter's birthday. They nailed the look and the taste!! Thank you!
Ordered the birthday cake on thur and collected yesterday around 4pm. The red velvet cake was dry and flaky. If not for the cream the cake itself is bland. I don’t mind paying for a good cake that’s why instead of getting a cake at a nearby Korean bakery to my apartment we decided on Sucre as we wanted my son to enjoy a good cake on his birthday. It tasted more like a grocery store cake.
Service by the 2 ladies is pleasant and friendly. Sometimes have to wait to be served as no one at the counter. I frequently went to get almond croissants and strawberries cake to go. They were delicious though pricier but the red velvet a let down.

For $60, you would think the signature cake you're buying would be covered in fondant or buttercream icing, but alas, no. The cakes are iced with whipped topping, AKA edible oil product, AKA Cool-Whip. Never going to buy a cake from them again, but the creme bruleé pastry is really good.

Please don't sell old croissants at the price of fresh ones, especially to regular customers who can tell the difference. If you have leftovers, consider offering them at a discount and clearly indicating that they aren't fresh. This transparency will help maintain trust and customer satisfaction.

It's not too sweet and it's delicious. It's the first time I've come across a cake with just the right amount of sweetness outside of an Asian patisserie.
