Decent place to get food, snacks, drinks, or a meal. Food is okay, atmosphere is chill, good for chatting/hanging out.

I ordered this item and i couldn’t find the thing on the menu mind you im not the smartest. The worker pointed it out to me when i showed her on my phone and i was like “oh” and then she preceded to mock me Infront of me she had an awful tone and had an unfriendly attitude. Do not recommend this place all the workers are the same

We definitely will return to this establishment. It could be beca6of the the time of the day when we were there the atmosphere was calm and peaceful. The server was polite and prompt.

We had lunch before we come so we just ordered dessert. The sweet level was just right .

We arrived at 8:30pm, ordered bubble waffle. Restaurant was not busy, one server and one owner behind bar. Our waffle came out quickly considering the menu mentioned 15min wait for the dish. Looks delicious, but every bite we took, it was very doughy, not completely cooked through even though it does have a crispy shell. Thought maybe just a few edge pieces, give it a few more bite, but all tasted the same. Called our server over, asked her to check if the waffle is a bit raw, she asked back “is it?” then walked away and never came back. We paid our bill and left in disappointment. What a horrible experience!

Really enjoyed their dessert! Would definitely come back.

Such a comforting spot!!! The sweet dumplings in coconut soup (black, sesame, and mango custard) are my go-to. The purple coco torpedo is so good too!!!

Used to love coming here for dessert, but unfortunately, our recent visit was disappointing. The new setup requires customers to create their own shaved ice combinations, which would’ve been fine if the process was explained better. We felt rushed and unwelcome—the server seemed irritated when we didn’t know how it worked.

We tried the mixed fruit grass jelly with coconut, and while it sounded promising, the flavors were underwhelming for the price. We also asked for extra milk and were surprised to be charged $1 for it.

Overall, the experience didn’t live up to what it used to be—both in terms of service and quality.

The portion sizes are simply terrible for the price you pay. The food is tasty, but it’s not worth the cost. To make matters worse, I was charged a gratuity fee when I was dining with children, which is a complete joke. Tipping should be optional no demands, don’t go here unless you wanna be forced to pay a tip.

stopped by with my boyfriend for lunch while downtown! this place is super cute, i like how its a little dark inside. the food came super fast and our server was really nice. we order the japanese curry with fried chicken and the takoyaki. also the dr oreo bubble tea which was delicious! i’ll totally come back when im in the area again

The service at Sugar Marmalade is exponentially better than I last came here about 2 years ago. The portions for their dishes are excellent for their price. Everything tasted amazing

This is my favorite shaved ice place! I definitely recommend their mango and green tea shaved ice. The pearl delight topping is so chewy and delicious—I absolutely love it!

You must go for dessert…. So much to try. This is what we had tonight. Will go back to try the other items.

Pretty good dessert place for a long time Calgary business. We kinda had to wait long for our desserts (but there was also a time stamped on the menu which let us know how long my specific dessert was so we weren’t annoyed at all) and that just means that they make desserts per order probably. The mangoes they used (and other fruits) tasted pretty fresh and same with the other condiments !
