This was a neat place to try something new. They have a lot of gluten-free choices.
Great place to hangout and deserts
I came here with my family for dinner. We ordered the baked rice with tomato sauce and fried pork chop, strawberry shaved ice and a mango crepe thingy. The baked rice was mid; the rice underneath lacked flavour and was kinda mushy. The strawberry shaved ice however, was so good and refreshing! I really enjoyed it. (My parents ordered the mango thingy so idk) Overall, I wouldn’t come here for MEAL time but the dessert is yummy 👍✨
I have been in sugar marmalade quite a lot of times now and I won’t be coming back. Their staff are rude and gives off attitude especially when it’s busy. Don’t you want customers?
Service is prompt unfortunate sago wasn’t taste good. Mango was too crunchy, pomelo too bitter

The drinks were good but the food felt subpar compared to another sugar marmalade location I've been to.

I recently came to Canada with my family and we decided to try this restaurant out and the food was pretty good but the service was kind of iffy. I think it was a girl with something like a hime cut (?) that served us and she was kind of rude and acted as if she didn't want to take our orders or bring the food to the table. Another server came out and her nails were very fancy looking and she was the one that gave us the bill, while she was waiting for us to pay she and the hime cut girl were looking at our table and whispering and laughing. I don't know if they were talking about us per-say but it did feel rude...

We have ordered from here a couple of times and the quality of what you get can be variable though overall, is still quite tasty. The menu choices/flavor combinations are intriguing. We tried the black glutinous rice with durian and coconut milk (as well as the mango), their durian specialty drink, popcorn chicken, and popcorn chicken cartilages.
The seasoning of the chicken has a good flavor but it can be a bit too light for my liking so that it is a bit bland. Their fruit is very fragrant & fresh and I felt there is a high quality of the ingredients they use. The dessert is not overly sweet either. I would definitely return for their dessert and their appetizers for a late night snack.
What an interesting find. A huge menue of Asian desserts and some delicious looking savoury dishes. Reasonable prices and everything we tried was delicious

This place has a really good ambiance but it could be hit or miss. However since I came here last year, their standards have improved the last phew times I been here.
I could only speak from my experience but the times we came , customer service was great. However I heard from others, it could differ.
The food is what you'd expect from a typical dessert place - not bad and in line with other places, nothing too out of this world.
There are a phew highlights and it's not their dessert. For the price their brisket is amazing and their main courses are really good. Other desserts can be hit or miss depending on who makes it and your own tastes as well.
Id give this place a shot as it offers a really chill vibe and a great place to hang out with friends and grab a bite to eat. Some desserts may or may not fit your taste, so explore their menu and find what appeals to you.
