Everything from beginning to end here was wonderful! The interior is really pretty and upscale. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Judith gave an excellent saki recommendation and checked on us frequently despite not being our server. The spicy prawn appetizer dish was my favorite but everything was good. Great experience overall, I'd go back.

It was our first time coming here to eat, one of my buddy’s birthday, through out the night it was good, we ordered the hot pot. In the middle of tasting the food, the Ladie server came over to our table and started scooping out the soups from the hot pot, didn’t even tell us the reasons why she would do that. At the end of the night one of my friend asked her it’s my friends birthday today, do you guys give out desserts or something ? She replies and tells him we don’t give out free desserts, if you want free desserts go to Denny’s or Starbucks. My friend was stunt the way she answer the question, then she came back the second time and dropped off 3 pieces of candy’s and said here you want free dessert here it is, three pieces of highchew candy’s. What a bad bad customer service, she looks like she came from Denny’s,maybe she should find another profession to work and definitely not customer service. Never coming back to this place again. So bad !!

Don't even pass by it. The employees are very unhappy, the food is very bad. I've been living with stomach ache for days. Food is old and bad. They treat people very badly. I regretted coming here and eating here. I'm writing so that you don't go and regret it.

Give people soy sauce and chopsticks when they order on doordash. 6 times they’ve missed mine

We went for my husband's birthday and invited another couple. The service was excellent. Our server even noticed a duplicate in our order and made a suggestion for an alternative type of roll. It was delicious and a very welcome recommendation. The staff are attentive but they don't hover, allowing guests to visit without feeling interrupted. Nice wine pairings for the meal as well. We will be back.
Sukiyaki House is my go to restaurant in Calgary! Whether it is for the best Japanese food; or a relaxing place with the best service - we always enjoy our time at Sukiyaki House. Highly recommended.

I am not one who gives five stars to most things. A four is for an excellent experience however Sukiyaki House went well above all expectations and the five stars is well deserved. I have had sushi in many restaurants and in many cities. The presentation of the food was magnificent, the flavours were delightful and the staff was so pleasant, helpful and tight on target giving you the privacy you want in a restaurant and yet sensing when the should appear. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting an incredible sushi experience in an astounding setting. Thank you again to all the staff.

We were looking for a 'go to' Japanese restaurant and we found it here! Super enjoyed the fresh food. And even though downtown there is free parking after 6, which is amazing.

Suk House is our favourite sushi restaurant in Calgary, maybe in Canada. Ana and Justin and Judith treat us like family. Great sashimi choices, always new things to try and the old favourites are always amazing. They also have a super wine list, not huge,but well appointed. Excellent sake choices as well! Luv this place, the amazing chefs and all the staff. 5 diamonds, not stars!!!!!
