An absolute must-go restaurant pick if you are in Calgary. I went there with my family looking for a nice play to eat dinner and oh man did we leave impressed! Good ceviches are hard to come by and Sumaq does a loyal service to the traditional peruvian ceviches. Other dishes like the tiradito, and desserts like the churros were absolute exquisite bangers. The servers were very kind to us (as fellow latinos) they served us a small shot glass on the house of a liqour I forget oops....

The ambiance is beautiful, the food is absolutely delicious, and the staff are incredibly kind and welcoming. If you enjoy aesthetic places and great service, this is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be coming back!

The door did not convince me either unfortunately. Carne Empanada was overstated and a bit too flaky. The main dish beef was not medium (as I ordered), but medium well
