Local products, fresh vegetables and fruits, best bakery in the city, very friendly staff and good prices.
This is the most incompetent store I have ever encountered. Do not order anything here. They will screw up your order. They don't know how to count, and can't be bothered to write anything down or, if they do, to read it. Some of the products are good, but you can get the same products at other health food stores.
Things were different under the previous owners, who worked very hard, and were super competent.
Very disappointed. I love European style baguette but please don’t let customers before they buy touch all of them we talk about hygiene is disgusting When they do this front of others Customers ready to buy them
I enjoy visiting here occasionally to see if there are deals or some new seasonal items. Decent selection of supplements, superfoods, fresh produce, and items for special diets (GF, plant based , etc.). I found some sausage weiners discounted to 50% off nearing expiring but they can be frozen. It is about own due diligence when it comes to expiry dates. Cannot speak on the ready-to-eat or bakery side, however. The Asian female cashier at the time of my visit was pretty chirpy and enthusiastic
I used to like their pizzas a lot, but unfortunately the combinations are not interesting anymore , the toppings are less than before, and pizzas are soaked with oil. I gave the pizzas second chance, however they were not as good as in the past. Sadly, it is not my fav anymore in the city.
Also, I think their phone number on google is not updated.
Possibly the best natural market I have ever been to. The staff are so helpful and very welcoming.
I love shopping in this store. Great products, friendly staff, and I don't feel like I am a number. This store has been around for a long time and I hope it stays that way. Shop here for a human experience.
Support local!
My fave spot for a quick morning breakfast sandwich, and they have a pretty extensive lineup of health products and natural foods
It’s with deepest sadness that I am leaving this bad review here. As a former chef employee and a long time customer service is very sad to see this business going down.
Every Tuesday I have requested to set aside one loaf of bread. I have always made sure to contact the market if I can’t make it there for whatever reason. There are days where I have called several times to communicate that I couldn’t come.
When after several calls not able to speak with anyone, the only option given to me was to leave a voice message too to make sure that they can still sell the bread set aside for me so it doesn’t go to waste.
Today for the second times, I was told that I was not allowed to reserve a bread under my name because I have failed to come to pick up the brace. Very unfair to be blamed of something I don’t do and never done before… especially knowing what a waste it is for a small local business… because remember I have worked here for 4+ years before moving on to my new career.
Lack of service doesn’t/ shouldn’t blame me when I have always tried to communicate with you that I wasn’t able to pick up the bread.
Maybe it would be good to have customer service answering the phone and/or listening to voice messages, rather than wrongly blaming customers of not doing their diligences.
Very sad sad experience.

Soooo overpriced when you compare to Blush natural store or Community.
(Blush lane is the fairest store coming from BC health food store prices. )
They don't do their market research to see if they're comparable and they're MINIMUM $ 2-6 more PER item.
Do your RESEARCH and create a community store (read the neighborhood Sunnyside) because communities need competition not greed.
Consistent portioning in the ready to serve food would be appreciated as it is bismol at best.
This place is the best! Great products, great prices, the best produce and super friendly staff.
Their cheesy twist bread and tapioca chia pudding are addicting.
Great little market with a fantastic bakery. The stromboli was amazing, and service was very friendly.
Decent place to grab a quick lunch. The pizzas and calzones are good, but sometimes the combinations are a bit strange like adding apples and fruits to make things a bit sweet. Overall, not bad though.
