Kayden was our server, and she was simply amazing! Friendly, took the time to check and make sure our allergies weren't an issue with what we ordered! The food was delicious. Will definitely be back!

We enjoyed the salad bowl with beef and peanut sauce. It's was a great balance of crispy, beef and sauce.

I got 2 fish tacos and the fries and they were delish. My partner got a burger on a gluten free bun and he thought it was great too! I also got a coconut margarita and it was amazing. It was a cool atmosphere and nice and quiet. The service was decent, nothing notable.

Our food and server were excellent, another server came by when some menus had slid off our table. She asked “are you done with these” I replied “no, not yet” then she quickly picked them up and slammed them on our table.

Had a great first experience at Surfy Surfy. Our server Laura was informative and helped us make the best of our meal and experience.

What a perfect and unexpected restaurant to have at a busy mall. After, before, or during (to break it up) shopping, it's a great stop to get some great food and be refueled. (Or in today's case, 4 of us just met up there from different parts of the city.) The food is consistently delicious, the service quick and friendly and since day 1, we were all reminded of why the Concord Group is so successful. Their model of hiring and training awesome people to such a high standard and serving delicious food never fails!

Not my first time here and i have experienced better service in previous visits. Given this was a Tuesday late evening, one would expect more attentive service.

The atmosphere makes this place. This place is a great mix of casual, unique even slightly exotic while remaining approachable for the least sophisticated diner, and warm - it's full of character and all while still being quality. Admittedly the Concorde Group has totally nailed restauranteuring in Calgary.
Compared to a few of their other offerings, the service here was a little bit slow - and it didn't seem like a busy night. This might just be because the servers are relatively new(?). To their credit, it seemed like the servers had great relationships between themselves.
Food overall was great. The edamame was purposefully served quite cold - it can be served either way but my preference is for it to be warm. The potato tacos were amazing and my girlfriend loved the chicken ones with the mango salsa.
We tried a couple cocktails. The coconut one was great. There was a Mountain Dew and passionfruit cocktail and unfortunately I had to wonder if anyone had tried that before putting it on the menu. The Mountain Dew cancelled the passionfruit and it ended up being bland and almost savory - but I appreciate the experiment.
Of course, the location is a bit unconventional being in the mall, but hey, I would come back for those potato tacos!

Parking: Park in the mall, next to the Shell or downstairs etc

Kid-friendliness: There were a couple items that would be quite kid friendly

Wheelchair accessibility: As long as you can get into the mall, this place is very accessible. Lots of space inside too for a wheelchair

The food was decent, but the ambiance could use some improvement. The plants looked neglected, with some dry and wilted leaves, which took away from the overall appeal. The margaritas were served in small, short glasses instead of traditional margarita glasses, which was a bit disappointing. I went with my girlfriends for drinks and appetizers, and while the experience wasn’t terrible, it wasn’t particularly memorable either. Both the food and atmosphere felt like they were missing something that could have elevated the experience.

That was my third time ordering food at surfy surfy and it was really bad service. We got to Double Zero at 9pm and my friend asked if it was possible to order food from downstairs (surfy surfy) and there was a girl that was taking orders for surfy surfy, she said that we could still order, so we ordered. Apparently the manager didn’t like that and she got mad about it. She came to our table with the food in a box and asked “ Who’s fries is that?” When my friend said that it was our food, she threw the box at the table and left.

A cool spot with tasty fusion tacos and great service. The only downside is the portion size—it could be a bit better for the price.
