We've tried other places occasionally, but we keep coming back to Surya because they are simply the best. This is a local restaurant run by a lovely couple. It has a cozy atnosphere and amazing food. The menu has all the popular Indian dishes you'd expect as well as some really interesting Indo-Chinese items. Highly recommend.
Our family discovered this place a few weekends ago. I used to say things like "the best butter chicken is from so and so" and "the best naan bread is from so and so" etc. There are some decent Indian restaurants we have tried over the years and we have been fans of specific dishes at certain places.Well, Surya has topped the list on almost everything now. This is the best Indian food we have had in the city! It’s a very small restaurant and the service is incredible. We can’t recommend it enough. Everyone go support this local family restaurant :)
