Menu presentation is confusing as no pictures as clear guidance, OVER PRICE considering the numbers of dishes and their portion, sushi rice is dry and tasteless, just wondering was it sushi rice or was it just normal jasmine rice, no ponzu no mirin in it. Nevertheless The service is good, atmosphere is just in the middle of something i didn’t get any japanese sushi shop vibe or anything.

We've been loyal patrons for nearly a decade, but unfortunately, our recent visit was a significant disappointment. We chose this occasion to celebrate a birthday and brought a cake, hoping for the same warm and attentive experience we've come to expect over the years. However, both the food and service fell short this time. There was only one server on the floor, which affected the overall pace and attentiveness. When the cake was brought out, there was little acknowledgment or enthusiasm from the staff—no gesture from the kitchen, no sense of celebration, which was disheartening for what was meant to be a special evening. After so many years of great experiences, this visit left us questioning whether we’ll return. We truly hope this was an isolated incident, as the standard we've come to appreciate was noticeably missing.

The hot food was pretty good. However, the sushi was disappointing; the rice was hard and stale. For a place supposedly specializing in sushi, this is unacceptable. The sashimi itself was fine but the rice was below supermarket quality. There is no innovation in the menu; these are all basic items you can get at any other Japanese restaurant. The service was unremarkable, and they have dividers between seats that make it impossible for the waiter to see you, and yet there is no bell or anything available for you to get their attention with. For the price I paid, the overall experience was mid; would not be back and would not recommend.

This is my absolute FAVOURITE place for sushi and Japanese food in Calgary. The quality is impeccable, the staff absolutely incredible, the vibe soothing and calm and totally lovely. I simply can’t say enough good things about this place. I literally come 2-3 times a week. And will keep doing so.
A Bridgeland and Calgary and Canadian gem!!!! I come alone, I come with friends, I come with my kids. Always the best.

Had an amazing lunch experience celebrating my wife’s birthday! The sushi was incredibly fresh, the presentation was beautiful, and the customer service was top-notch! Welcoming, attentive, and thoughtful throughout.
We finished with their banana tempura dessert topped with green tea ice cream, whipped cream, and chocolate drizzle — the perfect sweet ending to a perfect meal. 🍣🍌🍨
Highly recommend this place for a quality sushi lunch and memorable service. We’ll definitely be back!

The sushi rice has a good texture but under seasoned. Rolls were made pretty carelessly. The miso soup is not good quality. They also over charge for their lunch special considering how little food was served. Not a good price. Overall disappointed considering the good reviews from this place.
