The food was really good.
The price is good, too.
We went there for an early lunch and it wasn't very crowded.
I do recommend this place.

Excellent service from start to finish. The servers and manager were attentive, offered great recommendations, and made sure we had everything we needed. They went the extra mile to celebrate my dad’s birthday, which made the night feel special. Highly recommend.
Outstanding experience. Delicious food and the staff went above and beyond for giving our family a great experience.
Kids loved it!

We were visiting Calgary over Christmas and a video of sushi on a boat came across my social media and I knew that my Sushi loving kids would adore this and we were not disappointed! The friendliest greeting when we walked in to allowing our family of 4 to sit at the sushi bar to get the full experience and just the fun of it all and the food was as delicious as it looked.
We had a great time and my children will be talking about their sushi coming to them on boats for weeks to come.
I would recommend trying this place 100%!

The sushi restaurant features a strong Japanese atmosphere both inside and out. Colorful carp streamers hang outside, while inside there are small boats and flowing water, creating a warm and romantic ambiance. The open kitchen showcases a wide selection of ingredients that float by on the boats for guests to choose from. The floor manager is very friendly and patient, providing attentive and thoughtful service. The à la carte dishes taste great. It was a very pleasant dining experience, and I will definitely come back again.

No welcome greeting on entry but felt like we were an inconvenience. Good was not great. Took some salmon from one of the floating boats and it had a fishy smell. Coming from Vancouver I might be a sushi snob so this is just my personal opinion and don't mean to insult or make the owners of the restaurant look bad.

Sushi Boat is a fun and unique spot, especially for first-timers or if you’re bringing kids along. The main attraction is the floating sushi boats that circle around a large bar area with plenty of seating, making the whole experience feel interactive and different from your typical sushi outing. They also offer a full made-to-order menu, which is surprisingly large and gives you plenty of options if nothing on the boats catches your eye.
The plates on the boats are color-coded by price, usually ranging from just under $4 to about $6 per plate, so it’s easy to keep track of what you’re spending. While it’s not the most luxurious sushi you’ll find in the city, there were definitely some tasty gems floating by, and everything we tried was enjoyable enough for the price. The staff was friendly and helpful, which added to the positive experience.
If you’re looking for something quick, fun, and a little different, Sushi Boat is worth a visit.

The staff were very accomodating and attentive! The fish were all fresh, the rice in the sushi was very well seasoned. We ordered the beef terriyaki bowl and it was divine! A nice sushi place and very much worth the trip!

This place does what it’s supposed to do. Have sushi that’s reasonable and provide a bit of entertainment as the boats turn past. My son loves it and always has a great time.

Big fan of your food, it’s always so good. But I noticed there are dark moldy areas around the boat and it’s off putting when you’re trying to enjoy a meal. Would be great if those could get tidied up.
