While I was still living in Calgary, this was my go-to sushi place. Their food is excellent, their prices are reasonable and their service is great. They know their customers and they treat them like gold.

Been coming here for over 12 years, and I always get sushi from Sushi Ichiban, we usually do takeout. We enjoy their selection, and they NEVER mess up our orders. very nice and pleasant, and very reasonable times and their fish is always fresh. Parking is mostly in back and side (S and East corner of 37th and Bow Trail lights, but it's rarely full from other businesses.

The food, portions, and service are always 10/10. The service was excellent and this visit was no exception. Our waitress was attentive, quick to check in without being intrusive, offered vegetarian recommendations and was just so kind in her approach. You can tell the staff take pride in making every guest feel welcome. This is hospitality at its best, and it’s the reason we keep coming back time after time.

Big portion of food. Ordered a mango roll and an avocado tempura for lunch, and couldn't finish it. Foods are very fresh and delicious, so many layers of taste of the mango roll. Love here! Will bring family and friends here.

Went for dinner and enjoyed the mango and california rolls amount others. Service was very good as many servers would ensure we had enough food and enjoyed our food.

We recently ordered take-out from Sushi Ichiban and it was superb! The salmon sashimi cuts were fresh and thick; the California rolls were refreshing (with cucumber); the salads had a really nice homemade Japanese dressing on them without being drenched and the grilled teriyaki chicken dinner was outstanding - totally generous on the portion front. The prices are also very fair!
Dietary restrictions: They are accommodating to allergy restriction like avocado which they swap for cucumber.
