Sushi Kimu is a welcoming restaurant with the best sushi and Miso soup I've had in all of Calgary. The owners are so kind and the lady is a sweetheart. I would highly recommend coming here. It is very clean, and the atmosphere is nice as well.

Also ordered way more than we expected. The sushi was beyond our expectations, and the calmari rings were to die for. The portions sizes are huge, we had to eat with our fingers for most. This is actually the 2nd time I've ordered from Sushi Kimu and it's consistently delicious. I got the combo rolls: Cali, dynamite and spicy tuna. They're such a great size, the filling to rice ratio was perfect and tasted delicious and fresh. Shrimp dumplings, very tasty and soft. And miso soup which was once again a great size and very flavorful. Great prices for the portion sizes for sure, can't wait to try more. New favorite sushi place! Highly recommend

It was such a surprise to find this small spot with such a great menu and fantastic food. The chefs are front and center showing the skill and attention to providing great food and quantity. Service was friendly. Food was prepared quickly. Priced as expected. Next time we are in the area will put this spot on the supper list.

Went there with husband, my parents and m two kids [6 and 3] total 6 people. Restaurant wasn't too big and they had a reservation for the one large table they had. We stayed. Ordered a bunch of stuff and without being told at the beginning at all, upon going up to pay, she told me tip was already included. Didn't give me an option to tip and I thought maybe it might be 15% because we were technically a table of 6. She charged me more than 19% and tip was $30... had no words. We were the only customers, ate fast and came out. The experience would have been better if I could have chosen to tip but the service wasn't all there to begin with and I was charged an unilateral tip. No going again.

When my son has saturday school (language), we go there for most of our lunches. My son is a picky eater but loves this place, and last time, our whole family went :-). Ann (she's a real star, often checking on us and she never forgot to ask how the food was) and the other hosts are awesome and the food is always nice. We strongly recommend this place because you get great food and service and always feel welcome :-).
Parking: Around 10 or more. You can park on the other side if need be
Kid-friendliness: Ann is always caring and made sure my son and his younger baby brother were comfortable and recommended them dishes. We love this place!
Say they are open till nine thirty drove across town. Got there at a little after eight thirty , Even though the place had customers wouldn't serve us.Brutal !!
