Absolutely fantastic! The food at Kimu is several levels above the popular chain sushi places we had been going before.
The portions were larger than expected, the freshness is very palpable, and the presentation is very pleasing to the eyes and mouth!
The staff were exceedingly friendly, courteous, and helpful.
If you are interested in excellent sushi and sashimi, Kimu is the place to go.
UPDATE: As appears to often be the case, many establishments can be hit and miss. NOT the case here. Our third visit is excellent on every level. My distended abdomen speaks volumes to the irresistible selections!

absolutely amazing I love coming here all the time now it’s honestly the best sushi place in this area I’ve tried the ones down towards downtown and they all just suck and aren’t as good as kimu!! I’m so glad I tried this place out. Their food is super fresh and healthy The portions are amazing for the price I can barely fit them in my mouth 😂 and the people are very nice.

my family has been getting food from this place since I was 10 and it still hits the same after all these years! I went for lunch with my sister for my 16th birthday today and the food was so delicious plus the service was super fast and friendly. We got the gyoza, ton katsu and chicken teriyaki rolls and they were super tasty I would highly recommend this place. The music they have is also super nice and relaxing

Salmon Sashimi was fantastic! Otherwise, we weren't blown away by the sushi here. The service is good, very nice and friendly, and it's a good little spot. However, some of the sushi actually grossed us out and we got pretty standard orders (oddly sweet tasting flavors with a fish dish). Very unlikely to return for this price and quality, unfortunately.

We went there last night before our grocery run and this restaurant is a pleasant surprise. It is a bit small, but it is just right for a quaint Japanese resto. My son loved his beef teriyaki thay came with soup and rice, served on a sizzling plate. Their seaweed salad topped with salmon roe was delicious! I like that katsu don as well. My husband found the sashimi very fresh and have thick slices. All in all, it was a good experience.
This food was incredible! And the atmosphere was perfect. It’s a small place but didn’t feel crowded. The music was present but not too loud. Definitely excited to go back when I’m in the area! My only criticism is the communication. I understand that some of this might be the language/culture barrier but I wasn’t exactly sure where to sit, how to order, or how to pay. It came with asking the nice, but reserved, gentleman how to do it all. He was kind enough, but I guess I was hoping for more communication. Overall great experience and will return in the future.

Great place for some delicious sushi, here for dinner and it was busy since there was 2 larger parties of 7 and the food still came out this amazing. Would recommend the mango roll and some of their special rolls. Large in size and its a big mouth full of food.
