I ordered sushi here for the first time on February 14th through Uber, and what I received was nothing like the photo. There was a smell as if they weren’t fresh at all, and they looked just as bad. This was my first and last order—I just threw them in the trash after trying one. I do not recommend ordering from here. If you don’t know how to make sushi, it’s better not to make them at all. And I see that my one-star review is not the first. It’s a shame that people waste their money and time.

I called for a take out order and was only able to order one of five items because “the guy was not available to make food.” I showed up to pick up my one item and had to go to the Thai restaurant beside the Sushi Shop because all the employees of the Sushi Shop had left at 11:45am!
I called to order a few days prior, and even though their website and Google says they are open until 8, the employee I spoke to told me they were closing at 7:30. It’s run like a half way shop. Get your customer service in order, run a proper business.

The graphic design is the only impressive thing here. Don’t order the meats. Veggie only. Way too much $$$ for bottom grade sushi!!!

Honestly don’t waste your money. We got a menu the mail and it looked wonderful, we ordered, I went to go pick it up and when I walked in they shared a dinning room with another restaurant. Everything tasted terrible and the fish was very poor quality. We threw most of it. 10/10 do not recommend.

I would caution anyone that is thinking of ordering from the sushi shop. The quality of the product is the lowest I have ever experienced. The menu looked impressive but the result was terrible. The salmon sashimi for example was razor thin and looked like plastic. We will never order again and only give this review to warn future guests. Hopefully the sushi shop will consider investing in higher quality product.

Ordered sushi for delivery, took longer than expected to be prepared. This would not have been an issue if what had been delivered was acceptable. I don’t know wether to start with the actual sushi, or the quality of the fish. Dubious, likely unsafely prepared fish judging by the colour, and proportions of wasabi used seemingly to mask the poor taste. Would not order, recommend, or pay given the option. 0/10. Waste of money

The food just not great at all. I got sushi bowl. The fish was meant to be torched. It wasn't. Besides that it was mostly lettuce and rice with a cheap and boring mayo on top for $18+

I stood waiting for pick up and was blatantly ignored for 30+ mins, was right in front of the till and attempted to gain the employees attention, I finally got her attention, payed, then asked how much longer it will be since it was already 30 mins passed the time I was told it would be ready. She again ignored me.I have worked in customer service for 8+ years and have never had a such bad experience. Would give 0 stars but unfortunately I have to give one.
There sushi made me sick. It taste really bad almost like a “fast food” sushi but for a very expensive price. Really not good go to kinjo
Not sure why you would hire new staff, then not train them how to make the food on the menu??? The man tried his best but honestly, he didn’t know how to make almost anything we wanted. He also made us the wrong food and then didn’t give us a refund.

I’ve ordered and eaten here numerous times over the past few years. They have had some ups and downs over this time with service and food quality but recently they are on a big downward slide. Went into get some take out today and they said it would be more than an hour to get takeaway because their so busy with skip (that are on a time constraint) that they can’t take walk-ins. Not sure why you would have a storefront with tables if you can’t/won’t serve those who walk in to support your business.
