For a Food Court sushi bar, these guys set themselves apart. I bought the Salmon Lovers combo. IT HAD SMOKED SALMON!! Other notables: Enough soy sauce to get through the meal! A big enough cup to fit the biggest piece. TONS of pickled ginger. I ate after the lunch rush and they had nearly sold out.

The grilled chicken mango bowl with crispy rice was actually 10/10. Ingredients were fresh and seasoned well. The only thing is that on the menu it said the grilled and karage chicken is the same price but during check out the man charged me $2 more. You should update your menu.

Bought a poke bowl today for lunch. When I sat down to eat I found myself picking out ALL the leafy greens as they were rotten, slimy, black and had a foul smell. The rest of the bowl was dry and sub par. Definitely NOT worth $19. Won’t eat here again.

Got a takeout salmon poke from here. It was ok. The portion size was pretty big. However it was really salty and saucey. The sauce taste covered the salmon taste. Also, we ordered two pokes but they only gave us 1 pair of chopsticks so it was inconvenient when we opened it up.

I’ve been eating poke bowls from sushi shop for the past few years in Edmonton and I have always loved it. I was excited to find out that the Core mall here in calgary had a sushi shop so of course I bought a poke bowl this afternoon.
Why are the portions so small? For $21, I get less than half a bowl? And I didn’t even get all the ingredients stated on the description! I ordered a Volcano Poke! There were no masago, no avocado, no tempura, no green onion, no sesame, and no nori in my bowl. (See picture with the clear bowl) Like what the hell? And for that price, I would have been better off at a sit down Japanese restaurant and got my money’s worth. I ordered extra salmon and still got less to what Edmonton’s location gives. Also, why is it that the other locations fill the bowl but this location couldn’t? As I was leaving, I didn’t see any avocados in my bowl (I didn’t even notice the other ingredients missing yet) so I went back and asked if they have forgotten the avocado. The guy literally shook my bowl container (messing it up) just to show me one cube of avocado lol!! (I didn’t wanna cause a scene so I just said ok). I left anyway with my messed up overpriced bowl and went to eat it. I wouldn’t even care about the price if what I paid for was worth it. I am so disappointed and will not be going back. I’m literally thinking of calling my bank to dispute this because I didn’t even get what I paid for!! I had high expectations and this location didn’t even pass half of it. I have attached pictures to compare the bowl from this location and from Edmonton’s. The clear bowl is this location. (Mind you, I haven’t even touched it and it looks like that from the guy shaking it to show me the one avocado cube). The black bowl is Edmonton's. So so so disappointed that I wasted my hard earned money for this. People, don’t make the same mistake as I did by eating here.
