I have been to Sweet Relief a number of times now, both for my wedding cake and just for fun every day treats. The wedding cake was very reasonably priced and turned out amazing, both beautiful and delicious! They were so easy to work with throughout the process.
For everyday treats, they have a great assortments of goods to choose from and everything is SO good. Would absolutely recommend if you are in the area!

Their ready-to-go cakes are great if you're looking for something in a pinch. I got the earl gray cake with blueberry frosting for a friends birthday, it was cute and everyone seemed to enjoy it. The cashier was also super helpful and friendly.

I used Sweet Relief Pastries for twice now to creat custom cakes and cookies for kids birthday party. We designed this cake together. I chose the cake flavour I liked and she asked me what filling I would prefer. This one is coconut. Then I went on her instagram to show her some pictures I liked and then we came up with this bunny. She also did the most delicious custom sugar cookies as well. They can individually wrap them with a bow as well.

We stopped here hoping to grab a piece of their Nanaimo bar cake slice, but unfortunately, it seems these cakes are only offered by pre-order. The person at the counter mentioned that on occasion there will be slices available, but it doesn't happen often. We settled for a Nanaimo bar cookie, but we weren't blown away by it. The prices were reasonable for the treats available; we were just a little let down with what we picked up versus what we intended to pick up.
Paid parking is available on the street. This shop is located on a one-way road, so you may end up swinging around to find a parking spot.

Sweet Relief and Deidre created the perfect cake for our wedding. Communication was top-notch, the cake was delicious and it looked gorgeous! The cake was moist, not too sweet and the buttercream frosting was a gorgeous texture. We were recommended to get a 3 tier cake and it ended up being WAY too much cake for our wedding so we gave a lot of it away to the venue staff. I’m sure they were more than happy with it because it was delicious. We chose chocolate raspberry for the large tier and passionfruit vanilla for the top tiers. They were so accommodating with my requests for flavours and so good with design recommendations!! 10/10 experience. The cake got great praise from our guests!! Thank you Deidre and team!!

This place is amazing! You can instantly tell that everything is baked with lots of love. There’s tons of great options to choose from. We will definitely come back next time we are in Calgary!
