I have been living in the neighborhood for over 15 years now. I had stopped into Swiggs a few years ago. I did think nay this place is not for me.
I had heard about their fish and chips a couple months ago. I thought I would give it another try. I have been totally happy with the service and food now. I almost go in weekly for the steak, fish and chips or wings on their special nights. I am so happy I decided to go in. It is almost a weekly stop now.

This is the biggest dive bar I’ve ever been in, and I’ve been in some dive bars! The service is mid but the food is terrible and the atmosphere is horrible. A few tables of drunk idiots who yell as loud as possible about idiotic things. I gave it two chances only bc it’s close to home. I regret both of them. Never going back. Now I’m going to take about 100 aspirins to try to ditch this splitting headache. Do NOT waste your time! There are much better pubs in the area! I would give 0 stars but that’s not an option.

Fantastic neighborhood pub. Came here to catch some tunes from Earl Morgan Band and had such a warm welcome from the regulars. Bartenders were attentive, place was squeaky clean, philly pizza was top tier, and Village cider was on tap. Killer start to the weekend.

Overall amazing Vibe here. Fun atmosphere. Everyone is so welcoming and nice. However, both my friend and eyes sandwiches were on the more dry side... The mozzarella sticks we ordered as appetizers, however, were amazing.
