Worst experience ever. Unless your white or mexican, you won't get good service here. Takeout is the best option, since their food is amazing.

Stopped in here for lunch last weekend. Had to try it after visiting Taco’s Memorial recently, not quite the same vibe, we had Taco’s, Chimichangas & a pitcher of Hibiscus Tea, rice tasted kind of old/dated? Service & prices seemed fair enough.

My friend and I went in to eat. First no one greeted us resturant was empty. We sat down at the table the lady who helped come to front but still took about minute to notice us. She was kind but didn't offer us water and the food wasn't good and we ordered a soft drink from the tap and no refills. Over the food wasn't good.

This is the only Mexican restaurant in Calgary that serves Tampiqueña, granted it's a lot more dolled up here than the lunch special I used to buy when I was abroad but it's done very well and the margarita is reasonable though it now appears to be real rather than a mix as it was a few years ago. I am surprised that other Mexican restaurants in Calgary don't carry Tampiqueña as it's the most popular meat dish in Mexico. The only thing that would remind me more of the restaurants I went to when working abroad is if they served warm salsa and chips which is also something you also never see in Calgary.

My boyfriend and I have come here many times, I finally moved back from out of town, we were so excited to eat here as the food was always delicious. Service has always been subpar but we went in and notice there has been a huge menu change with a large price increase and also an up charge for mixing different tacos together which we never had issues with before. We waited for around 5 minutes and when we still hadn’t been given water or anything we choose to save our money and go somewhere else. Keep in mind there was 1 other table in the restaurant. This place has changed and I don’t recommend.

Nice little place on the corner of McLeod, we went for lunch . The food was very authentic and tasty. Drinks were good too. Must try.
This was my second visit to this establishment, I wanted to introduce this place to a few friends, the food as always was very authentic and delicious. However, this time around the service was not very good. Our waiter forgot to put our order thru, everyone around us got there food, ate and left, even the patrons who arrived after us. I tired to get the waitresses attention, she told us she let out waiter know, he finally came over and asked us what we had ordered! We initially got the appetizers and drinks, then the main courses never arrived. We almost left, but a friend wanted to wait, it was a long afternoon, the food as always was good, the waiter put the appetizers on the house for his mistake, but the service needs to be better.

Have been here many times, and have loved the food. The service was always lacking a little bit, but we accepted that.
However, this last visit was horrible. The service was so slow and disorganized that most of our group had finished eating before some of us had even ordered. Orders had to be repeated 2, sometimes 3 times as the staff would come back with only part of the order, or the wrong order.
The food was sub par, as if the ingredients themselves had even changed from our last visit. Simple appetizers, like chips and dip came with a small handful of chips, barely enough for one person, and not even close to enough to finish the dips. Despite requesting more chips over the course of 2 hours, they never came.
When it came time for the bill, there were so many mistakes, and we were forced to split the payments ourselves.
We might return, but if we were to experience this same poor service and subpar food, I think it would be the last time.

Service is awful! Staff including manager sit around and don’t check in you. Don’t listen and bring chips with meal, don’t refill water, wait for bill while staff clean tables. Food is good but staff need to learn how to serve customers.

We went today and at first the waitress was very nice, we order and we were waiting for 45 minutes, we realize then, that customers that arrive after us was served first, so I called the waitress and they forgot to put the order in, they start rushing because their mistake, then 15 minutes after, the order arrive wrong for my husband, I pointed to the waitress and she took back the order, I ask for a compensation and they argue that the owner was not there, the burrito was horrible (because was rush)and we have to pay the check without any discount or nothing to compensate their mistake. No going back there, they don’t care about customer service, very disappointed. BTW we didn’t tip, very bad service!!!!

Very underwhelming delivery experience. I ordered the tortilla soup which arrived missing the sour cream and avocado. The broth was so bland, and the chicken was still so dry despite soaking in the broth.
The carnitas tacos weren’t much better either. Again, super dry and flavourless meat and the tortillas were so cold, almost raw, and so oily for some reason. Definitely won’t be ordering from here again.
