The mexi fries were made fresh and along with my taco, both were very tasty.
It was taco Tuesday and came to $6.34 or something but when i went to tap my card it said $10 even! I brought it to the attention of the older asian man that was at the till and asked him how that happened and he corrected it. Often a person is so quick to tap to pay but it was a good lesson that we should always check the amount on the machine before tapping.......and ask for a receipt.

I've become accustomed to seeing Sam and I believe his wife on my lunch breaks the past 8 or so years I've been working at this building. Sam at the counter always greets everyone with a smile and his signature "Hi there," and is always eager to help out.

I've tried almost everything on their menu including seasonal ones, but I recommend getting the "crispy beef" which comes out hot and fresh every time, and burrito bowls with guac. Sam always remembers my orders, and when it's not busy asks me about my day/work which is a big part of why I come back alongside the food.

I recently visited Taco-Time in downtown after a long break of over 14 years, hoping to relive some of the good experiences I had in the past. Unfortunately, my recent visit was quite disappointing. I ordered vegetarian burritos with no dairy, requesting guacamole as a substitute. What I received was far from satisfying—just lettuce, black beans, and a teaspoon of guacamole. There was no salsa, and the burrito lacked the flavor and quality that I remember from years ago.

I also took advantage of their deal—buy one burrito and get 50% off on the second one. However, the overall experience left me unimpressed. It seems that Taco-Time has declined over the years, especially when compared to other Mexican-style restaurants that have emerged in Canada.

Sadly, I won’t be visiting this location again. The quality and taste are just not what they used to be, and there are much better options available now.

I was thrilled to find a Taco Time. I absolutely love the. Beef and cheese burrito!

Before cell phones we always used Taco Time as our meeting spot when in malls, etc. It was perfect and I got a burrito every time!

Third time here each tine gets worse, taste much different then other locations . , my burritos were cold not warmed up and my sour cream was sour , the meat had zero taste , much different then other taco times

Great spot located in +15, easy accessibility and affordable price point. Food taste good. What else we need for quick lunch option on a week day at office? Highly recommended.
