I regularly go to or order from this restaurant. I took 4 friends visiting from Australia and the US last night. The food was excellent and the owners treated us like we were eating at their home. We ordered the tandoori combo, chicken pakora, beef and chicken kulcha, bhartha, daal tarka, garlic naan and rice. The food was as good as any indian restaurant that I've eaten at around the world! I would highly recommend dining at/ordering from the Taj Mahal Restaurant.

My friends and I were visiting Canada recently and wanted to go out for Indian food. We landed on Taj Mahal after I came across several positive comments online. At 5pm on a Tuesday we had the place to ourselves, and experienced one of the best meals any of us had ever had. Everything we tried was so delicious, the service was spectacular, and the vibe of the restaurant was exactly what we were looking for. Would not hesitate to recommend Taj Mahal to anyone who's in Calgary. Would 100% go back if I'm ever in Calgary again.

If you overlook the fact that you are eating in a basement, the food and service were phenomenal. From the cocktails to the samosas, butter chicken, aloo golbi and more it was all fantastic. They should be noted for their extensive gluten free and vegan menus, great job! I will definitely go back and try the buffet next time.

The most amazing food every time! I frequent the lunch buffet. $21.99 for very high quality always hot and fresh is too cheap in todays economy..they could easily add $3 without being offensive! Id eat there every day if my waist line could afford it! Best naan ever! Comes to the table hot and basted with ghee...the naan alone is worth it! Looking forward to my next lunch there 😁
Amazing place to have Indian food. We visited this restaurant both times we were in Calgary. Apart from the taste of the food, i commend the service. The lady at the restaurant is very warm and welcoming.
Will definitely visit again whenever we come back to Calgary.

We hosted a party of 60 people for an 80th birthday. From planning start to the end of the night, we received kindness and professionalism from both the owners and all of the staff that helped make it a great night. My family has been eating at the Taj Mahal for 45 years and has seen the ownership change but the food quality has always been great and we think it is even better now than before. The vegetarian and non veg are options are equally tasty and they will even accommodate vegan and dairy free, with reasonable limits. Highly recommend!!
