I tried this place for the first time today, and honestly wasn’t sure what to expect, but soggy definitely wasn’t it. I ordered the Cheesy Takoyaki, and what I got were soft, soggy dough balls with what seemed to be a tiny piece of octopus inside. I couldn’t even finish one. I’m not sure if this is how Takoyaki is supposed to be, but if soggy dough balls are the standard, I won’t be ordering it again.

My takoyaki was overcooked on the outside undercooked on the inside. It didn’t taste too bad but I couldn’t really get past the soggy texture. Their musubi also wasn’t bad, but it had a similar soggy texture so I couldn’t finish it. The portion sizes were also smaller than I was anticipating for the price.

Tried original takoyaki here for the first time, very nice consistency - crispy on the outside and chewy/gummy in the inside. Freshly made to order, good sauce to balls ratio, but I personally could have used more sauce. Filling and flavour was good.
Service was fine. I only saw one person working when I was there. Friendly but not super fast.
Atmosphere: tables were limited and wasn’t wiped when I got there at the end of a lunch rush.
Price: fair.
I look forward to trying their ramen and/or japadog and would order the takoyaki again.

I would recommend this place for takoyaki, however DO NOT get the strawberry boba it was horrendous. It was soo grainy and the taste was like a ready bad protein shake, even the pearls were horrendous. Took a sip and threw out the whole thing

Super love the quality of the food and service here! The owners are so warm and welcoming, very personable! Its my first time here and it didn’t disappoint..The food is just excellent! Fresh and made to order! :D I highly recommend the Japadog and their takoyaki.

Price point is also cheaper than most ramen in the city with similar or even bigger portioning. Also cannot skip the spam musubi every time we visit?
