Came here today with a good friend of mine to catch up over lunch. The food was decent - excellent fries! Unfortunately, our server was MIA the entire time and we were never offered any refills on our sodas which was disappointing.

We ordered a Beef Dip Sandwich and a Tavern 52 Burger through Doordash on February 15th We received the order and when I took a bite of the burger it tasted sour so I got my wife to take a bite to confirm I wasn't wrong and she tasted the same as me. I called Tavern 52 immediately and explained my issue and was put on hold for over 10 minutes so hung up thinking I got disconnected. I called the restaurant back and explained my issue once again and I was told politely they are very busy and to call back at 9:00pm, I then responded and said so I'm just expected to watch my wife eat her supper and nothing happens with my order? I then was told to call Doordash and take it up with them. Poor customer service at its best. Lack of concern regarding food safety and Quality. They just lost great customers and contemplating sending this meat to food inspection agency. Just an FyI the meat on the Beef Dip Sandwich was extremely tough. NOTE THE PICS OF THE BURGER ON FEBRUARY 15TH&16TH. Obviously it wasn't good.

Food is tasty and affordable. But you need to start actually toasting the garlic toast please 🙏 It always arrives looking like this, not toasted at all and pretty soggy.

An old fashioned local bar vibe, nothing fancy but comfy enough so 3 stars on that, just a middling kind of place but seems clean and taken care of. Good prices on reliably good food, with very reasonably priced daily specials. I don't know how often they have bands but they did on Halloween -- so extra points for that as Calgary needs more venues that support live music. Friendly and attentive wait staff.

Have never had such a shitty experience at this bar, came here for my friends birthday and it's been by far the worst experience we've had and we have been here tons of times. The waitress we have is terrible, whenever we have her our service is always terrible. Asked to turn the music down twice and it was barely turned down.
Will not be returning this bar has permanently lost my business.
It's always a great space. Good food, friendly staff, patrons are well behaved. Well worth the visit!

Ordered take out yesterday & called another order in today. This place is that good! The dry ribs are hands down the best I have had. Definitely addicted & see these being a weekly pick up. Highly recommend giving them a shot. Super friendly wait staff as well.
