I love shawarma so much that I’ve never written a review… I feel like everywhere in calgary is good enough that it doesn’t foster a bad review and everywhere is good so I can’t be spamming good reviews…that is… until I came upon temple shawarma. Mangled, discombobulated, atrocious, despicable, disposable. Merely not digestible. Ok seriously all of that was dramatic but it’s not edible - hard bread (whatever they find outdated) , bitter veggies (whatever they find expired), not enough sauce (whatever was thrown out from other stores). Really bad IDEK 0/1

I bought a beef donair poutine here and it was very bad the fries were not cooked properly I had to chew a lot the pieces of beef were huge and tasted Uncooked I HAD TO THROW IT AWAY
Would NOT RECOMMEND THE FOOD

I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad shawarma in my life until I had this one. I’m actually so sad writing this because I was so excited for when the food came. First off.. the wrapping of the shawarma reminded me of when you try and wrap up a sleeping bag when your hungover and don’t gaf.. I wasn’t too quick to judge, but when I saw the wrapping of the actual WRAP I’m like who the?! How does this even happen? Anyways despite the initial reaction I took a huge bite of my stale wrap that I had to rip off like a dog and to look inside the only thing that looked fresh was the blood from my gums. Anyways the lettuce was withering away and the meat seemed like it was kept warm for a week prior to me getting this wrap. I could go on, but I would like to forget this experience. Idk if they are struggling over there or what, but man so am I. Save your money and just eat whatever you find in the pantry cause I wish I had.
Edit: I wouldn’t even eat this if it were free.

Your 'Storefront by doordash' setup does not have your proper menu. I selected the beef and chicken shawarma bowl. The picture showed that it included vegetables, but none were actually added. There is also no option to add vegetables to the order. Fix it and I will increase my rating.

My husband just got 1 chicken wrap like 45 min ago or so and let me tell u chicken is so dry and hard to chew like I am chewing a card board.. my 5 year old daughter rejected it after 2 bites and I took some chicken bits from her and I decided to not to touch mine..I really want to go and let them eat the wrap so they know what they r feeding to ppl but due to roads and tired after work.. making me stay home…Even after spending, I am making dinner arrangements at home .. it was first and last for me..

The beef was dry and over cooked. Hummus had chunks of chickpeas and was bland. No bread for the hummus was provided. Three potatoes and the garlic mayo had no garlic it's just sour.Two Large Beef Poutines with two very small containers of gravy, 1 garlic mayo container and 1 tahini container. Let me repeat these are two large Poutines. In other words I'm having fries with mozzarella cheese that's not melted, dry shawarma beef, and some onions and tomatoes.Time to stop using Uber eats. Every time I order there is a problem and no solution.

Parking: Limited number of parking. But there is enough.
My wife picked us up a couple shawarmas for dinner, it was terrible. I honestly do not recommend it, there are much better Mom&Pop shawarmas spots in Calgary.

This is the best shawarma place ever!!! Not only that its very close to my location, but also we get something very delicious and good portion for the price. We come here every 2 weeks and leave craving for more. Despite the hate comments, dont ever close this shop its AMAZING!!!!!
