Thai Express Restaurant Calgary

ordered through the app, and the experience was terrible. The pad see ew had a strange sour taste, and the beef was incredibly tough and hard to eat.

Expert chef. To see him work the wok with flames taller than him is a sight to behold. He makes the most awesome spicy fried rice. Possibly the best I've had from any Thai Exp.
The combos are just okay, they don't really justify the additional $7. Shrimp spring rolls were quite bland and even the dipping sauce did not make much of a difference. Portions are nice and large.
Recommended if you like spicy soups and fried rice / noodles.

Great food and the staff were very accommodating , Christmas eve they were about to close but they made us 4 meals before they closed.

I ordered the General Tao chicken plate for about 12 bucks. The chicken was heavily breaded in a gooey sauce with carrots and onions. All this on a bed of plain rice. It tasted ok, nothing too special. It gave me a bit of a sore gut after, probably the spices. I expected coconut rice, but they didn’t have that. Not enough veggies, tasteless rice and so so flavoured. Not that healthy so I won’t be returning. Not that friendly staff who don’t greet you or say goodbye. I definitely didn’t get that warm and fuzzy feeling on arrival or departure. So I say bye bye.

This is the crappiest thai express (country hills) out there. I ordered twice from this restaurant within a week and the food was a huge mess. The rice and noodles were chewy. The picture attached is the chicken wings I received. I order from thai express every sunday so i was extremely disgusted to receive chicken wings split into 9. They should be blacklisted from skipthedishes and doordash.

I got two dishes, pad thai for my 6 year old as that is his favourite. He threw up an hour after eating it.
I got thairacha and the rice was hard and the chicken was hard too and had a weird aftertaste to it. My bet is both items were old. I've been super nauseous and just want to puke it all up so it's out of my system. Doubt I will be returning to this location!

Good food, helpful staff and really clean, it's what you would expect from a fast food joint! I always eat the Pad Seew.

Got 2 meals. Service was good but the food was disappointing. Both meals had almost no veggies and overcooked chicken.

Food was terrible had the general Thai pinapple, it was so dry no sauce or vegetables, and the green curry only had the mushrooms and no other vegetables, will never order again.
