Thai Express Stonegate is my go-to spot for fresh, flavorful Thai food. The staff are always friendly and welcoming, and the food is consistently hot, delicious, and customizable to your spice level. The restaurant is clean, bright, and perfect for a quick dine-in or takeout. Highly recommend the General Thai Chicken and Pad Thai — always satisfying!

This is the best Thai Express location (Stonegate country hills). The food is always fresh and tasty. Mandi and Manmohan are the nicest and most humble people. The are always pleasant. They take pride is everything they do to make sure the customer is always satisfied.

I really hope I got her name right because Samneet thank you for your kindness at closing time to prepare food. Best customer service provided by this young lady. Drove from Edmotnon and I came in just minutes before closing without checking timings and asked for something. Without breaking the smile this young lady started bringing out utensils to cook food again. I sincerely hope store owner/franchisee recognize her skill and services. I will definitely recommend this place. Her recommended food was piping hot and was delicious. Great service Samneet. Thanks again

Thai Express at Stonegate Plaza is one of those places that surprises you in the best way. The moment you walk in, it smells amazing and you can tell the food is going to be fresh. The staff are always friendly and welcoming, and they move quickly without ever making you feel rushed. The place is clean, bright, and comfortable, whether you’re sitting down to eat or just grabbing takeout on your way home.

I ordered the Pad See Ew, and it was absolutely delicious. The noodles were soft but had that perfect bit of chew, and you could taste that smoky wok flavor that makes Thai food so good. The sauce had just the right balance of sweetness and savoriness, coating every bite perfectly. The vegetables were fresh and crisp, and the chicken was tender and full of flavor. Every bite felt like comfort food done right. You can tell they care about quality because the dish wasn’t oily or over-salted, it was just simple, balanced, and really satisfying.

What I love most about this location is how consistent it is. Every time I go, the food comes out fast, hot, and cooked perfectly. The portions are generous too, so you leave full and happy without feeling like you overdid it. It’s the kind of place that always hits the spot, whether it’s lunch during a busy day or dinner when you just want something easy and delicious.

This location has become one of my go to spots. The food is fresh, the service is great, and that Pad See Ew keeps me coming back. It’s the perfect mix of quick, affordable, and genuinely tasty food made with care. If you’re craving Thai, this place won’t let you down. Not quite sure what these negative reviews about the portions and efficiency are about ,but from my experience I find that this Thai Express is one of the best I have tried! Will come again!!!! 😃😃😃

I stopped by Thai Express at Stonegate Plaza recently because I was craving some quick Thai food, but unfortunately the visit turned out to be underwhelming from start to finish.

I ordered the General Thai Chicken — something I’ve had before at other Thai Express locations — and expected the same fresh flavor and quick service I’m used to. Instead, I ended up waiting around 10 minutes even though the restaurant wasn’t very busy. For a fast-casual spot that prides itself on efficiency, that wait felt unusually long, especially since I only ordered one dish for takeout.

When my order was finally ready, the portion looked okay at first glance, but once I started eating, it felt like I had mostly paid for a container of rice. The chicken portion was small, the sauce barely coated the food, and the overall flavor was surprisingly bland — almost no real taste or spice, which is disappointing for something called “General Thai Chicken.”

To make matters worse, the meal came to nearly $18, and for that price, I expected much better quality, flavor, and value. The quantity didn’t justify the cost at all — it honestly felt like I had paid a premium just for plain rice.

The staff were polite but not particularly friendly or attentive. I didn’t feel like anyone was in a rush to make sure customers were happy or that orders came out promptly.

Overall, this visit was a letdown. Between the slow service, bland food, and high price for small portions, I left feeling like I didn’t get my money’s worth. I’ve enjoyed Thai Express before at other locations, but this Stonegate Plaza one needs to step up both in speed and flavor if it wants to keep customers coming back.

Would I return? Probably not unless I hear they’ve improved. For now, there are better Thai options nearby that deliver more flavor and value for the same price

Something’s wrong with this location. This is the first 1 star review I’ve made but it’s warranted. Issues I experienced:

- 2 bathrooms: 1 was out of order and 1 had no toilet paper
- My food took 30 minutes to be prepared as it seemed the 2 staff were struggling to manage the orders coming in from food couriers
- When my food arrived it was not the typical Thai Express recipe. What was suppose to be a chicken stir fry had maybe 2 pieces of chicken
Thai Express Corporate should look into what the issue is at this location or it won’t survive much longer
