Beautiful store with a nice stock of merchandise. The only down part is that you guys have only one person doing all stations: register, drink, wash, clean, customer service, etc. You should have a minimum of 2 if it's slow. That'd call slavery and those times are over. Don't be cheap with payroll. This visit was a Sunday at 12: 45 p.m., and there is constant traffic. The Alley in Katy, TX, has at least 5 employees behind the register at all times.

Kid-friendliness: The kid behind the register was very patient with all my questions.

Tried 2 of them. One is taro and one is signature brown sugar one.
I love the taro one, it has real taro and the sugar level is great. The colour is so pretty as well.
The brown sugar is good as well, but not my favourite lol.
It is the top 3 bubble tea stores that I will stop by when I in Calgary.

I bought 4 bubble teas for my friend and family.. we drink bubble tea multiple times a week. We went to The Alley for the first time and asked for something similar to a Brown Sugar Milk TEA and the guy recommended the Deerioca or whatever. So we got 3 of those and 1 Passionfruit. The recommendation he gave us was literally a massive cup of milk with boba in it. Zero tea. When we explained to him it wasn’t what we wanted or expected, he tried to mansplain us and both staff members laughed at us. I’ve worked in multiple food/beverage services in my life and would have offered to remake the drinks. Anyways, giving 2 stars because I enjoyed my Passionfruit tea, but come on, do better than that on customer service. $35 later and 3 drinks in the trash. Remaking the drinks and providing better customer service might have cost a few dollars, but would have saved you a 2 star review on the internet.

Ordered fruit drink with coconut jelly. The coconut jelly has glue like and plastic texture they does not get chewed or break down. Had to return it.

Today I tied the strawberry crunch with regular boba and kept the sweet level as it comes and have to say it was absolutely delicious. It was the baristas suggestion as I had tried the tiramisu crunch one in the past and loved it as well but was looking for something strawberry today. Service was excellent and I will definitely go again.

Parking: There was plenty of space in the underground parking garage

Wheelchair accessibility: There were plenty of accessible spots as well as elevators and ramps.

This location at Chinook consistently has the worst customer service. Only went because of the current promotion collab with Pompompourin only to find out that EVERYTHING, drinks and merch, was sold out but no one bothered to put any signs on the door and you only find out when ordering. Wasn’t there for the merch, just wanted a drink. Be prepared to be disappointed if you’re going for the collab. I did order a regular menu drink but my experience was no better and left a bad impression as always. The staff are so inflexible with making any adjustments to drinks, at which point don’t even have that as an option if every customization you try to make is going to be replied with “no we can’t do that”. I’ve also had staff respond rudely when trying to add toppings that I am paying for. How hard is it to make adjustments to your drink when you’re paying for it, and it’s supposedly an option? 10/10 highly recommend avoiding and going somewhere else in the mall like Gong Cha for better customer service, value and quality. The Alley is overpriced and mediocre all around.
