Service was really poor and waited a very long time for our food. Food was excellent once it arrived and the server acknowledged the wait. A bit turned off from today's experience.
I do love a nice breakfast and the beltliner didn't disappoint. It has a little bit of that diner feel but the coffee is far better than that. I had a hash brown bowl and my egg was perfectly done-cooked white, runny yolk. Seasonings were balanced, textures just right.
The staff at the Beltliner were accommodating and made our special celebration of my daughter's conviction particularly magical.
My husband and I had the worst experience here today - Our order hadn't arrived for over 30 mins since we had placed it despite the restaurant being almost fully empty. So we asked our waiter to check, he then told us something was wrong with the printing and our order didn't go through, he wasn't one bit apologetic and instead gave us a bad attitude saying it had 'only been 20 mins and not 30'. I don't know how that matters because only upon us asking him to check did he even realize our order didn't go through and was yet to start being prepared! He was not apologetic at all and continued to talk to us rudely and cut us off when we were expressing concern over how late it was and how hungry we were.
We still wanted to wait for our food but it is 100% due to the waiter's demeanor and attitude that we decided to cancel our order and leave - we were scared he'd do something to our food, simply based on how much he seemed to hate us.
Too bad we had such a bad experience, we were actually very excited to try the food especially the potato pave. Unfortunately, I don't think I'd ever dare going back here, again singularly attributable to our waiter.

Yuk~!
No Thanks~!
Very regular place. Can’t say it is bad, just regular. Almost no vegetables served with breakfast and other dishes. Kind staff. The portions are good.

Yum! Everything tasted really nice, good quality food. It tastes elevated and super hearty and fresh. Staff were wonderful and everything was super clean.

I got one of the fried chicken eggs Benedict. I felt like it was extremely simple lacklustre, dry and the way it was plated seemed messy and not worth the price, could’ve made something better at home sadly. Hopefully they can add some more ingredients or colour to their Benedict to have it feel worth the price.

I always love coming here. The staff, atmosphere and menu are all really nice. Very clean and spacious with polite servers. Everything that I've tried at The Beltliner is so delicious and well portioned.
Barista at the front with black hair is always extremely helpful and gives amazing drink reccomendations. Variety of menu options, a large hot/cold drink menu and a cute selection of pastries ?
Perfect place for brunch!

The service was fine and I liked the atmosphere! I thought my Classic Eggs Benedict lacked flavour and the hash browns didn’t have much seasoning. I was hoping it would have tasted better overall, considering the price range.

We visited this place about two years ago for breakfast before work and we haven't been again until this week. I remember it wasn't a place we wanted to go back desperately but it wasn't a no go so we decided to try again.
Let me first say, this is OUR experience and it wasn't good. Our server was good but nothing great. Food was unimpressed and bland.
I ordered the Beltliner Benny (eggs | maple balsamic bacon jam | brown butter hollandaise | country hash | english muffin) and I was excited about it because of the maple balsamic bacon jam. Well, it was nothing like the description, there was no maple, no balsamic and no bacon jam - it did have A LOT of onions and barely any bacon. It was honestly so bad that I removed the entire thing and only had the eggs and potatoes. It was very difficult to eat before of the strong taste of onions. Not to mention, the hollandaise sauce was only in one of the muffins, the other was as dry as it can be.
My partner ordered the fried chicken benny and his description was: very forgettable. I tried a piece of his and I have to agree, there was nothing connecting the flavours, the fried chicken was bland and as he mentioned - forgettable.
The highlight of our order was the potatoes - country style hash, very crunch and to perfection, but again, bland.
Hope they change this soon. I guess it'll be another 2-4 years for us to try again.

Awesome place for breakfast or lunch. The staff are amazing. This feels like your small town diner where everyone is friends. The food is delicious, served to ensure you get your fill and leave money in your wallet.
The food here is a bit unexpected for a diner-style restaurant, but we were very pleased with our meals. We each got breakfast bowls and lattes, and everything was very tasty. The booths are very comfortable, and we've also sat at the bar and in the dog-friendly patio. If you're looking for something a bit different for brunch, check it out!
