The Berwick Public House

Been coming to the Berwick for 5 years and the service is usually always great with good waitresses. Food is also good though no complaints along with the drinks, all pretty standard. The chips and deep fried pickles they used to have are long gone and I don’t think there’s any chance of those coming back unfortunately as those were great.

Wing review 9/10, probably the most solid wings I have on a regular basis I can’t really think of any of the hundreds of places I’ve been that really are better some though being on par with the Berwick. The selection is good for flavours with many decent flavours being wet or dry rubs both being good. Price for wings on wing night is tough to beat though. Wings are smaller on wing nights probably due to them being blanched if I had to guess but still very good especially for how cheap they are. I’d highly recommend trying out the spicy dill. Overall the wings are crispy and has a great flavour to them one of the best wings I’ve had but can for sure say some days it’s not amazing though the most consistent earning it a 9/10.

Its a neighborhood pub that punches.above.its weight-loss- but has a few huge.misses that really hurt it and I could see if you had your first experience on a miss you wouldn't come back.
Burgers and pizza are great. Bartender knows how to mix a decent cocktail. Bar lines taste clean. Soup of the day is always a winner. Avoid the Nachos (dissapointing), anything with fish, and the wings unless on special. Salads are typically fresh - but have had the occasional wilted green. Will be back and continue to go. Staff are attentive to needs :).

I dislike giving poor reviews but it is what it is. The food was not great. The mini Yorkies tasted and had the texture of a donut, not yorkshires and the neat was very tough. Aw well, the manager was talking openly about the oncoming server in an unnecessary way. "She isn't at least 5 minutes early so she is late", then decides to verbally reprimand her in front of customers. In reality she was on the floor actively working 2 minutes before her shift, which he openly stated was at 3pm. I dislike this behaviour especially in front of customers. It simply isn't professional.

A year ago: (please see update below) Excellent experience in this pub every time. So glad we have this gem in our neighborhood!!

Update: In the past couple months things changed with the new management. I come here to meet up with the locals and the consistent bar staff. However, the bartenders changed as did the vibe. The locals I've spoken with aren't appreciating this change nor am I. The regular bartender that used to be on Saturdays isn't. The Saturday vibe isn't the same. What was wrong with the former consistent schedule? I used to come here every Saturday night, now that's changed. I want to support local and have appreciated the constant people and schedule. I'm disappointed!!

Went on Halloween night for a little dinner. I had the onion dip, which was absolutely delicious, a little Spicy, but it balanced so well with the apples. Would highly recommend for someone wanting somthing small

My favorite of the local pubs in the city. One for the few that has that friendly local pub environment without feeling like a complete hole in the wall. Great patio, good food, awesome specials
