We tried The Big Cheese Poutinerie last night for the first time. WOW! The fries were amazing! Freshly hand cut, perfectly crispy, and the flavor was amazing. By far the best fries and poutine we’ve had in Calgary. High five to their fry guy for cooking the perfect French fry! We can’t forget, Jeremy, who was super friendly and made the evening even more enjoyable. Great food and great atmosphere. They’re open late too, so it’s perfect for our late night work schedule! 💖

I went because it was the number one choice for poutine in Calgary online. When I went, there was no one there, zero customers, on a Friday night. The service was neither good nor bad, very basic. And the food was delicious, everything we ordered tasted very good. But I think I had high expectations. So, It wasn't bad, but it didn't blow me away.

The poutine was fantastic. We had smoked Montreal meat poutine and a buttered chicken poutine both were fantastic. The drink selection are all bottled so that’s kind of lame and no matter what they give you to go containers. Other than that this place is fantastic. Highly recommended

There is a huge variety of poutines with your choice of proteins. I really enjoyed the Montreal poutine topped with corned beef and sauerkraut. On a nice day, the patio in the back is wonderfully quiet and serene.

I was in recently, had the perogie poutine take away. Walked around the corner and opened it, it was cold, sauce and cheese, fries were a bit warm, but not enough to melt the cheese. I had to wait 10 min or so the service was great but I don't think the cheese hit the microwave before going into the poutine.

The entrance was quite narrow so wheelchairs and bigger people may have difficulty. The seating was also incredibly low down, or child size, and quite uncomfortable. The art work displayed within is questionable. BUT the poutines are amazing. Massive portions and a wide selection of tastes. I don't think you'll be disappointed.
