The Canadian Brewhouse (Calgary University District)

The food was delicious. Looking over the menu I had a hard time deciding what I wanted LOL. We got the fried pickles and cottage cheese chips for apps. I got the power bowl while others got the steak, sandwich and buffalo chicken wrap. The kids got two cheese pizzas. My only knock was the server! She took forever to refill our drinks and did an ok job overall. The outdoor seating with games was fun!

First time in Calgary, we stumbled across this amazing sweet place, we were impressed by our service. Zoey made us feel welcomed, and really set our week trip , on a very positive note. I've visited a few times recently and find the food inconsistent and overpriced for its taste and quality. Seems understaffed as the bar is dirty (tables not cleaned well, food on the floor, bathrooms a disaster). Even sitting at the bar I wait a really long time for service and the waiters aren't very friendly. I know this is a sports bar but they can do better than this.

We had such a great experience thanks to our server Zoey! She was warm, attentive, and made us feel so welcome from the moment we sat down.

The service was smooth, and the little details she paid attention to made a big difference. Kudos to the management as well for clearly creating a positive, well-run environment where great service thrives. We’ll definitely be back!
