I had the avocado toast with a bowl of the broccoli cheddar soup.My friend had an appetizer of 8 wings, which came with a few sprigs of celery/veggie mix and dip. Then he ordered a large bowl of Cesar salad with chicken.We also ordered a coke each. My friend had to ask for a refill since our server seemed fairly distant/distracted. The server brought the refill, and my friend made a joke that he didn't mean to bother her for asking for a refill. The server took the remark as an opportunity to explain herself that a table walked out without paying their bill.Just a note, most places have free refills. Apparently, this place doesn't (after I reviewed the bill).Even after the distracted service.We sat at a table right across from the bar but really anywhere you sit, your pretty close to the bar and in ear shot of the bartender slamming ready made drinks on the counter, throwing glassware into the dirty glassware area and talking so loud to "patrons" that I couldn't have a conversation with my friend.We were there at 1pm just shortly after the lunch rush on a Saturday.Food was good but service and environment seems toxic due to unfortunate circumstances.I chose this location since it was closer to my friend's girlfriend's house in far NW.We also had the honey cake which comes with whipped cream which was perfect ?Vegetarian options: Avocado toast

VERY unimpressed with the experience at this location and even more unimpressed at the lack of responsiveness regarding blatantly disrespectful, inattentive, and inappropriate staff. Would not recommend this restaurant and likely won't be back. My boyfriend and I were here at the bar and had come to have a date night and originally came in intending on staying a while to have a few drinks however we ended up leaving and going and having drinks at Woody's up the street and had a wonderful experience there!If you're eating here or ordering from here, you WILL have all the staff members calling you names and making fun of your appearance, What you order, and your name. Most of the tables were full when we got here so had no choice but to sit at the bar... By the time we left, the whole place was essentially empty (arrived around 6:45 ish pm and didn't get our bill until 9 pm having only my spinach dip, 1 drink each and my boyfriends poutine) and the other staff were all gathering around the two girls sitting next to us, which leads me into how disrespectful the whole entire visit has been....There were two girls sitting here who we quickly realized were staff members. We were checked on twice, while these two had been swearing and making fun of customers with the staff members behind the bar. The man behind the bar who was serving us had brought them 3 rounds standing right in front of us and openly talking crap about names/orders that had been placed online all while not even turning our way to check on us even though we were on the corner RIGHT BESIDE these two girls. Every conversation that we had to listen to throughout our meal was insulting other staff or straight up calling a customers incredibly rude and mean names they were very loud about it, so clearly they just don't care about customer service or respect.Wasn't ever asked through the meal if we needed anything or checked on the empty drinks that sat here the whole time because we were neglected to be asked if we would like another round. Took over 25 minutes at the end in an empty bar to get the bill after asking for it and another 25 minutes for them to come back with a machine.
I just spent $22 on crumbs. I’m not impressed. We stopped in to watch the flames game and had some beers and nachos. The top ten chips were full chips with toppings and the rest were the size of a fingernail. Didn’t even have enough chip to scoop salsa. We complained, and the waitress said she spoke to the manager, but the manager never came by to speak to us, nor was anything done. I won’t ever be back. I now understand why I was warned not to go there, but only decided to go because I had a good experience with a Canadian Brewhouse in Vancouver. Do not go there for food. Overrated.

Been coming to this brewhouse for many years and it’s always a good time! Came here on St. Pattys day, it was pretty chill vibes but we had lots of fun still! Our server Jasmine was awesome and really sweet :) Highly recommend

Met up with four friends for lunch today, March 17, 2024. I had the Yorkie skillet. It's basically a Yorkie bowl with mashed potatoes, mushrooms, braised beef, gravy or jus, green onions, cheddar cheese and crispy onion straws inside. It was very good but had a lot going on. I think I would have preferred to have little Yorkies with the beef, mushrooms and gravy with the rest on the side. I ate every bit though and was stuffed. Service was great and it was quite busy. They even had a gentleman walk through playing the bagpipes so that was a nice touch for St. Patrick's Day. It was freezing in the restaurant though and pretty dark.
