The Canadian Brewhouse (Calgary Northgate)

The 40 oz steak was not what it should be because the was a decent amount of fat/grizzle and took away the full aspect of 40 oz.

Our waitress Sydney was fantastic, she was always checking in on us and our drinks were always there when needed.. She was a very attentive waitress

My husband turned 50 this year, this was his choice of restaurant for his birthday dinner. I sent a message to the restaurant to inquire nut free desserts (this was for me) so that we could share a dessert together. Restaurants usually don't know the ingredient list, so I just avoid dessert. I received a message back, to my surprise, they actually had 2 that were nut free!! The dessert poutine was amazing!! We will be coming back again, even if its just to order dessert.

I love this place, and continue to return time and time over again. Just recently had a birthday and in the app you birthday MONTH gives you a free plater of nachos as long as you buy a drink. Not only was the service fast and friendly but the size to the nachos were massive. So much so it was a perfect starter for two people.

Yesterday we visited your place for the first time. We ordered beer, which took a long time to arrive, and when it finally did, it wasn't the one we asked for at first, though that's forgivable since the server was clearly new. Then we ordered nachos and poutine, which took about 30+ minutes to come out far too long for chips and fries and when the nachos finally arrived, they were so dried out that they stuck to the paper under the cheese, forcing us to peel them off piece by piece, and they were so overcooked we ended up dipping them in beer just to make them edible. We mentioned this to our server, but nothing was offered no remake, no discount and for $26 those nachos should have been phenomenal, not something we struggled to eat. The poutine wasn't much better, very average and closer to fast food quality, which is the opposite of what you'd expect at a bar. Overall, this was a really disappointing experience, and if such simple dishes can't be made properly, it makes you question the rest of the menu. Unfortunately, this was probably our first and last visit to your bar chain.

Mara was awesome! Visited on labor day long weekend and had a great time with family. Platter and pizza were great and service was quick!

I dying in with my family at the Canadian brewhouse Northgate and was pleasantly surprised. Our Server Samantha was very attentive and the Overall atmosphere was so fun! Had some of there Ribeye special, will definitely be coming back soon.

we went in for the birthday nachos around 11pm, our server was a delight. Mikaela served us with utmost enthusiasm she was so kind and reassuring as we had a vegetarian diet restriction. she better be getting paid more lol

Loved the waitress we got, food was really good, the ambience of the place was okay (unless you got drunk early then you'd have to deal with flashing lights lol).

I’ve dined in a few times and have ordered off skip and few times, food is always amazing no matter how it’s served to me. My favourite is their bacon Mac and cheese with the jalapeños and the extra baked cheese on top! It’s amazing as a side dish or a standard meal! My partner always goes for the poutines and this time he tried the buffalo and he was in love!! Has the right amount of gravy and toppings and definitely had the kick you are looking for! We also received the popcorn chicken as the promo on skip, and hits the spot every time!
