The Canadian Brewhouse (Calgary Northgate)

I love this place, and continue to return time and time over again. Just recently had a birthday and in the app you birthday MONTH gives you a free plater of nachos as long as you buy a drink. Not only was the service fast and friendly but the size to the nachos were massive. So much so it was a perfect starter for two people.

Yesterday we visited your place for the first time. We ordered beer, which took a long time to arrive, and when it finally did, it wasn't the one we asked for at first, though that's forgivable since the server was clearly new. Then we ordered nachos and poutine, which took about 30+ minutes to come out far too long for chips and fries and when the nachos finally arrived, they were so dried out that they stuck to the paper under the cheese, forcing us to peel them off piece by piece, and they were so overcooked we ended up dipping them in beer just to make them edible. We mentioned this to our server, but nothing was offered no remake, no discount and for $26 those nachos should have been phenomenal, not something we struggled to eat. The poutine wasn't much better, very average and closer to fast food quality, which is the opposite of what you'd expect at a bar. Overall, this was a really disappointing experience, and if such simple dishes can't be made properly, it makes you question the rest of the menu. Unfortunately, this was probably our first and last visit to your bar chain.

Mara was awesome! Visited on labor day long weekend and had a great time with family. Platter and pizza were great and service was quick!

I dying in with my family at the Canadian brewhouse Northgate and was pleasantly surprised. Our Server Samantha was very attentive and the Overall atmosphere was so fun! Had some of there Ribeye special, will definitely be coming back soon.

we went in for the birthday nachos around 11pm, our server was a delight. Mikaela served us with utmost enthusiasm she was so kind and reassuring as we had a vegetarian diet restriction. she better be getting paid more lol

I’ve dined in a few times and have ordered off skip and few times, food is always amazing no matter how it’s served to me. My favourite is their bacon Mac and cheese with the jalapeños and the extra baked cheese on top! It’s amazing as a side dish or a standard meal! My partner always goes for the poutines and this time he tried the buffalo and he was in love!! Has the right amount of gravy and toppings and definitely had the kick you are looking for! We also received the popcorn chicken as the promo on skip, and hits the spot every time!

Came here to celebrate a friend's birthday. There's plenty of parking. I've been trying different Canadian Brewhouse's around the city so it was great to visit this one. Staff was friendly and drinks were flowing. We had about 20 of us and service was efficient. Food was excellent - had the prime rib special and it was good. I saw others eating nachos and wings and burgers and they all looked really good. Would definitely come back here if I'm in the neighbourhood again.

We went in the afternoon for a late lunch. Was pretty quiet but service was quick and a friendly atmosphere. Definitely recommend going. Their brisket poutine was fantastic.

Sorry brew house! Your food cannot compare to the mom and pop places with there home made recipes.
This is a good sports bar and has a massive selection of drinks.
The best part about this place is the frosted mugs for beers!
The downside is prices are very high and portions very small, they do however have an app and you get free stuff from time to time which is a very unique feature.
Your just not bringing me back often enough compared to the smaller bars that are a bit more mom n pop run.
I understand though, you got a big establishment to run and it's more about moving plates around than making honest connections with the customers in order to bring them back.. .
