We had an amazing experience at The Captain's Boil! You can try different seafood like Lobster, Snow Crab, Dungeness Crab, Crawfish, Shrimp, Mussels and Clams. They have a great menu of Mix & Match Seafood Feasts like Sailor’s, Matey’s, Pirate’s and Captain’s. We ordered the Pirate's Feast and chose Lobster. We had Mussels, Clams and Shrimps, The Captain’s Fried Rice (Seafood), Cajun Fries and Regular Side (Corn, Broccoli, Potato & Okra). We chose Cajun Flavour (blended variety of Cajun spice, Cayenne Pepper, Paprika etc) with Medium Spiciness ’Feelin' The Heat’. The feast tasted amazingly delicious and satisfying! The scrumptious seafood was fresh, mouthwatering and perfectly cooked. We enjoyed every bite of it!

Tried The Captain’s Boil out of curiosity and it was a good experience overall. We ordered mussels and shrimp and they were tasty and well cooked. We went with the very spicy level, but it wasn’t spicy for us since we have a pretty high spice tolerance! The flavors were good, though a bit too buttery (feeling greasy) for our taste. Still very enjoyable and worth trying if you’re into seafood boils. We’ll definitely come back again!

At a little after 5pm I went to buy just an order of fish & chips to go. The male host was really personable & professional. I took my food home & heated it for just a minute in my microwave. It was THE BEST fish I've had in a long long time. It's was DEFINITELY worth the $21 I paid. PERFECTLY done fish & so tasty. I RECOMMEND you to eat there.

We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The staff provided excellent service — especially our waiter, who was friendly, patient, and attentive throughout our meal. The atmosphere was comfortable and clean, perfect for a date night. We will definitely return!
I ordered a pound of crawfish from this location and ended up having the WORST food poisoning of my life. I had never been more sick in my entire life and would have wished that i could have gone back in time and NEVER had ordered from this place again. I am a seafood lover. And had always loved crawfish and was incredibly heartbroken that my love for this seafood was ruined due to the traumatic experience i had. I hope no one has to go through such a thing. I only wish for more care for the food.

I love The Captain’s Boil and honestly every location never disappoints! This was my very first time visiting right after I arrived in Calgary. We got the Matey’s Feast which comes with shrimp and mussels, the Captain’s fried rice (we did ours with seafood), and a shrimp basket plus corn and sausage as our sides. We literally ate everything! It wasn't busy so we were able to just walk in and the staff were very accommodating throughout. Definitely worth it if you're craving a big seafood spread!

My family and I came here in 2018 and didn’t enjoy the food but we decided we wanted to give it another try! The waiter was very friendly which is the only good thing that came out of the evening. The lobster quality was incredibly poor and a lot of the food was not as clean as we’d expect it to be. Fast forward, we go home and every single one of us got food poisoning!

I visited this location today and have been a loyal Captain’s Boil customer for a while. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst experiences I’ve had, mainly due to the manager on duty. We ordered extra sauce with our meal, but it arrived without it. When we mentioned that it wasn’t what we ordered. They insisted that we had already received the extra sauce. This was frustrating, especially considering I’ve visited this restaurant many times (likely over 40 visits) and know exactly what I ordered. I understand that mistakes happen, but as regular customers, we expected to be treated with more respect rather than made to feel as though we were in the wrong. However if there’s anything good happened today, the server was amazing!
