I found this place super fun. I went with my partner and we didn't know what to expect! Market prices are on the board at the front, and mussels are served in a bag. You eat with plastic gloves on because everything is very messy. The servers are kind and the food is excellent. I had an awesome time here.

This place is worth the drive. The quality of food is above average. The flavours make you want to come back for more. The staff are attentive and informative. They never leave you on your own wondering what to get. We had the Captain's Boil. Ah-mazing!!! A great all around experience. Would recommend to anyone. Unfortunately I didn't get pictures of the food. I totally forgot.

A really underrated staple in Calgary. Great food and value. Phenomenal service and leadership. Owner, Marc, and his team are hospitable and foster a great dine in experience. The service is tentative and friendly. The menu is diverse and approachable. Whether you are new to seafood boil or a pro, Marc will offer you hacks to elevate the enjoyment (ie. smashing the potatoes in the sauce bag). It's always a good time. Take out is also magnificent to enjoy in the comfort of home. Highly recommend.
The food was very delicious — everything was really fresh, with great flavor. The service was very fast and the staff was incredible. I want to highlight the presence of Linda, a wonderful and very kind young woman. Thank you for the attention, the experience, and the great taste.

I was so excited to try this new place out!! Captains Boil! I am a seafood lover and especially shellfish. I came here with foir other friends so we could try different shellfish and such. We ordered the King crab legs, clams, crawfish, mussels, lobster, Dungeness crab and we all had it in a mild Captains boil base, we also added okras, corn, lotus roots and corn with garlic bread, fries and chicken tenders. This was a very good meal the boil base tasted excellent with just enough flavour. The shellfish was served fresh and not frozen. It's a messy dinner and everything is served from a plastic bag. I strongly suggest you wear the bibs thats offered.
Update: I still visit here and always order the snow crab with potatoes and corn. Its always cooked perfectly. The meat is always sweet and never stuck in the shell. Great place to go with friends or family for a nice seafood boil. The service is always superb.
