I visited The Chick Pea, a Middle Eastern restaurant with a typical menu of shawarma, falafel, and donair, along with a variety of side dishes. I decided to keep it simple and ordered a basic falafel sandwich—just bread, falafel, lettuce, tomato, and tahini sauce—to focus on the falafel itself.

+15 lunchtime consumer since 1995 and shawarma enthusiast. I feel like we have a new downtown shawarma champion. Fast service with a huge line up, super fresh and crisp ingredients. The chicken had great flavour and a good char and was not dried out. Many places pre cut and have the chicken sitting in a warming oven, this service was hand cutting or order so you get that off the oven grill.
