Can’t thank this place enough. Genuine family food with Flavour, texture, and original recipes. Nothing better than A family owned establishment who cares for their customers. Celiac families need to come here. 100% recommended.

For dine in or for takeout I think that The Cookie Jar is the place to go for high quality and delicious baked goods or hot meal items whether you have celiac disease or not. I have been there many times, have many “favourite” menu items and am grateful that an excellent gf restaurant is near my house. I have also selected fresh and frozen items to enjoy at home. Thank you so very much!

Great gluten free spot in Calgary. I first visited them at their crossroads location and it's worth the trip to their new spot. My favourite sweet treat is the cannolis and savoury I love their cheddar garlic bread. I really appreciate their gf facility so cross contamination isn't an issue for celiacs.

Love the new location. A nice calm little cafe, good selection of baked goods and a lunch menu. Very tasty and a reasonable price. ?

The staff were great, selection great. I had a slice of plain cheesecake. Terrible. I've never purposely ate cardboard but if I did, I'm sure that what the cheesecake tastes like.. the texture was good but the flavour was wrong. I don't know...

The lemon delight cake/bar is really good. Not too sweet, wish it had more of a lemon punch though. Butter tarts are great. Have not yet tried the savoury options. The banana bread is very dry. I'd prefer it to be sliced to the thickness of a normal bread slice (1/3~1/4 of current) and heavily stacked with butter.

Stopped at this little gem at the Calgary Farmers market. The gluten free chocolate chip loaf was over the moon delicious! Not too heavy or cakey like some gluten free breads can get.I highly recommend.

The best baking I have ever had, and I can't believe it's gluten free! Laurie has a magical touch and the baking isn't overly sweet which is often a problem with GF. Her scones, muffins, pies (both sweet and savoury) are out of this world. And the staff are lovely too, Kerianne in particular is an absolute delight! I travel an hour round trip every weekend to stock up on my favourite snacks and meals just because it's THAT GOOD.
