Every package of frozen perogies I ever buy from here fall apart. Easily wasted over $60 in perogies. Started with a slow boil added salt to the water, every time they fall apart. Super dissapointing I really dont like to write bad reviews thats why service high but the food is dissapointing.
Lots of gluten free options..
Picked up the brownie with nuts and one without.
They were frozen after baked and I was encourage to microwave when I got home.
My wife was happy with it all as she's the gluten free one.
They had all sorts of stuff on display and in the freezer... will definitely be going back to try more.
Love this gluten free shop. I have celiac disease and trust this place. Purchased lots for freezer. Sat and ate a nice chilli, everything was freshly made. Customer service is excellent. Will definitely be back or order for delivery.
I came into The Cookie Jar today and once again, it was an absolutely wonderful experience. Delicious BLT paired with chicken rice soup—both were spot on. The highlight, though, was catching the fresh cinnamon buns just as they came out of the oven. They were to die for. My only regret was not grabbing more than one!
I'm also a huge fan of the carrot cake and morning glory muffins—both are amazing. Being celiac it's so great having a place I can walk into and not worry. This place never disappoints!
The food and selection are wonderful and the service is always great. I cannot reccomed the cookie jar enough for my fellow gluten free folks. The hardest part is selecting something because I'm not used to being so spoiled for choice!
Very delicious turtle cheesecake and million dollar squares
Lovely little cafe with tasty gluten free treats and excellent service!
Normally I don't like anything gluten free , I find it crumbly chalky and mealy. The cookie jar however is run by magicians. Everything was fantastic my wife had a quesadilla and I had a turkey sandwich on rye. Super generous and affordable. Kudos .
Great cafe and lunch spot. Wonderful staff and atmosphere.
Our household went gluten free recently, and this place is a real gem!
I’m obsessed with this place. Their club house is the most amazing sandwich I’ve ever had. It’s warm, and buttery, with amazing bacon! The bread is fantastic. I wish I could have one everyday. And their millionaire bars are also perfection. Yum

Can’t thank this place enough. Genuine family food with Flavour, texture, and original recipes. Nothing better than A family owned establishment who cares for their customers. Celiac families need to come here. 100% recommended.
This is our favorite gluten-free bakery.

For dine in or for takeout I think that The Cookie Jar is the place to go for high quality and delicious baked goods or hot meal items whether you have celiac disease or not. I have been there many times, have many “favourite” menu items and am grateful that an excellent gf restaurant is near my house. I have also selected fresh and frozen items to enjoy at home. Thank you so very much!

Great gluten free spot in Calgary. I first visited them at their crossroads location and it's worth the trip to their new spot. My favourite sweet treat is the cannolis and savoury I love their cheddar garlic bread. I really appreciate their gf facility so cross contamination isn't an issue for celiacs.
