I honestly think it was an off night for service: the server and bartender had a few tiffs. The server and hostess had a few tiffs. Something was not clicking. I would have to try the restaurant for a better gauge. The food however, was incredible. The table had an assortment of appetizers. The lettuce wraps were incredible! We also had a few drinks and the fresh prince was exceptional.

Very good vegetarian place with great selection of delicious options. We went during happy hour which wasn't too crowded. We shared the deluxe rosemary yams and highly recommend them, and each took a different entree. Overall a good place with good food. Would come again. Service was great too!

We have eaten here several times in the last few years. Some of the best meals we have eaten were at The Coup. Something has changed. The food has gone from exceptional to below average. Disappointing.

Everything was better than we'd even hoped. Two vegetarians and one flexi, so we all were happy. Mistakenly thought brunch was every day, and came on a Tuesday. Our mistake! The gentleman was kind enough to ask the chef if it was possible to do brunch items anyway, without our asking him to do so. It wasn't possible with only one chef in the kitchen, but he tried and we appreciate that! We flexed into other dishes that were all wonderful. Two of us barely made it through before getting full, and one failed and had to leave a piece of yam uneaten. It was all delicious and just right in all ways. We shall definitely come again and recommend it to our friends!

Our server was abrupt and rushed us for our order even though it was clear we were in discussion. It felt like we were putting him out by being there throughout our visit. The food was good though.

Fantastic food, the falafel quesadilla was so good and that cheesecake melts in your mouth - so delicious!! How is it Vegan? Cooper served us and was a fantastic host! He provided great recommendations, he was so friendly and so kindly offered an after dinner apple pie aperitif! Such an amazing service throughout - we will definitely come back!!

Way too long to be serve. The food vegan whole foods are the best I ever had!
Overall solid. And a place I enjoy infrequently. Only drawback this visit was the service speed. Took a while to get our bill and get out despite the restaurant being quiet that night. Still love the place and will be back.

I've been to The Coup a few times but the service on Sunday was unusual. The food as always was spectacular. It started out a bit strange, I had made a reservation for 1330 for lunch and let the gentleman who greeted us know we had a reservation. He sat us at a dirty table even though there were plenty of set tables available. We stood and waited while he wiped the table and then sat down. Our server was gentleman, older than the one who sat us, and although he wasn't rude per se, he was abrupt and aggressive. Items were slammed or tossed on the table - water, chopsticks, etc. that being said, he did offer recommendations when we asked and ensured we had our drinks and appetizers. After our appetizers he asked if we didn't mind settling up as he had to get to his other job. We hadn't even received our entrées but honestly, we didn't feel comfortable to say no due to the server's abrupt disposition. He said the other server would be finishing our service, a blonde lady, she only came by once as we were almost finished and never stopped by to ask if we wanted anything else. We would have had coffee and desert, but we didn't feel welcome or that our business was valuable, so we finished and left the restaurant. At that point still no one had cleared our plates, acknowledged us, or bothered to reply when I said thank you as we walked out. This is the first time I've had inconsistent service here so I'm hoping it was just a bad day, but I thought it was important to mention it.

The food was decent, but a bit different than what I was expecting based off the descriptions on the menu. Our waiter barely checked on us the entire time so our dining experience was very slow. I would have ordered another drink but nobody came to check on us after our food came (and it took a long time to order too). Maybe this is because there was only one server working when we came in.
