Stopped here for a trivia night. Atmosphere can be quite engaging with events but otherwise the bar is an absolute dive. Food is serviceable but pretty lacking for the price. You’re mostly paying for convenience or hangout factor if you’re a student. Otherwise I’d suggest passing, especially for the price point.

Not bad for a university pub!! Prices are a little bit on the higher side. They’re comparable with any restaurant in Calgary. The ingredients are fresh, but the service can be a tad. The room is quite dark and loud, but I suppose it’s all contextual for students and faculty members who might be enjoying a lunch or an after work or school drink

The staff is very very slow. It’s was not that busy and it took 15 minutes just to get my beer and then they forgot to hit send on my order. The waitress did offer a discount which was very nice.
I do not put this review on the staff fully, management needs to be making sure that things are running smoothly and they were no where to be seen.
Speaking of which, in many European countries the beer is room temperature but damn this was very warm like the keg wasn’t chilled and didn’t sit for 24-48hrs.
I had to get the food to go so that part won’t be reviewed.
The bar needs a deep clean, I can see that the areas where the glasses are needs a full disinfectant. There is a smell that was a bit mildew like. Hopefully that is okay lol.
Make it make sense. 1 jug of beer, $24. (50oz) 3 pints of beer (60oz), $22.05. $0.50 cents off highballs on monday... What a joke. Want a mountain of pea shoots on literally anything? Come here and order food. Burgers 100% are not made to order. guarantee they are sitting in hot water all day long. No thursden? Who ever is running this place needs to actually work there because wow. It has changed for the worse. Servers are constantly on their phone in the middle of the bar. Go to the LDL.

Food was really good. I had the beef taco, which came in 4 good size pieces. Quite enough. Also the food got ready unusually fast, when you compare it with other places. The staff were friendly and helpful with the menu. Will go there again.
