-The fish gave us food poisoning. -The seasonal drinks were really really bad (4 shots in a short glass) and when the waitress asked for feedback we were honest. Suggested a tall glass filled with 7up but she kept them on the bill though none of us could have more than 2 sips. Quite disappointed and won't be returning. -Wait staff was subpar. -dry steak bites -nice atmosphere

I am very picky when it comes to my goto bar but i found this diamond of a bar. Ive been to every other bar in the area and this one has the best food and vibes and the best daily specials. Alex. Mikaelaa , rosy, and sonya are the best most kind bar tenders you can find. They know exactly what theyre doing and can make basically any drinks. The food is unreal too the wings are amazing and the fish n chips are to die for. Anthony in the kitchen does an unreal job. And if your not sitting at the bar emily and isabella are some of the most down to earth sweetest servers youll ever meet. The owners are very hands on and very generous. Also I forgot to mention they have almost every big sports game on the tv! I highly recommend this place for a drink or even a bite or a place to hang out with your friends

We went into the Dorset on a Saturday evening on a whim. It was not nearly as busy as they deserve to be, and I really hope that they get the support they need to stay open!
Our server was friendly without being phony and over the top, attentive without being intrusive and helpful in making decisions on menu items. I had wanted to try the Steak and Ale pie, but unfortunately, his oven was awaiting repair so he suggested the Cottage Pie instead. It had a true beef mince instead of just run-of-the-mill hamburger, and perfect seasoning. Extremely filling and satisfying!
My husband has been searching for a true English breakfast that he remembers from his childhood and has finally found it! The fact that they serve this all day is a bonus! It isn't listed on the choices for recommendations, but he gave it is very selective English stamp of approval!
When our server found out that it was my birthday weekend, he also provided us with a dessert to take home and share (way too full to eat it there!) and it was delicious! We had the Sticky Toffee Pudding - absolutely worth it!!

I don’t usually leave Google reviews but this establishment is amazing. Staff is amazing, patron's are amazing and regular’s keep this place the great place it is. They are full of laughs and stories that make the day/eve amazing. Leave all Politics, judgement, hate and anger at the door and come have an amazing time because you will have it here. Let’s keeps the regulars here and welcome the new comers. (NO DRAMA)

Owners allow a super creepy regular to keep coming back to pub - someone who kept asking me for leftovers of my 50c wings and kept coming up to talk to me even after it was made very clear his attention wasn’t welcome. Bartender and other staff were awesome, but were constrained by overall pub policy. Not family or female friendly.
I had the Dorset Burger, which was great. My wife had the chicken wings, which were only ok. Some were too tough for her to even chew, and others were fine. Still, we had a great time and would go back.

Walked in, place is pretty much empty other than three people at the bar, and 4 on the patio, place is quite and drab, waitress came to take our order, she was friendly, wearing dirty clothes and unwashed hair. Ordered fish & chips, it was swimming in oil, few fries (like they counted them), no coleslaw, salad dressing instead of tartar sauce, fish tasted funky (ate half a piece - ordered 2 pieces), the food was piled up on the plate so you couldn't actually eat without making a mess because the plates are so small - to give you the impression they're giving a lot of food (invest in bigger plates), when she brought our food, her unwashed hair was dangling over our plates, REVOLTING!! (wash and tie your hair back when you're serving food). Terrible experience, wasted my money on garbage food, will never go back.

With live music during the week it's an excellent spot to wind down after a tough day!

There is always a patron or two that completely lack a sense of humility or humour… I mean this creepy regular wouldn’t even let me finish her chicken wings ;)
