What a lovely experience at The Lake House for our anniversary. Everything felt intimate and cozy. The staff are incredibly friendly!
The steak was absolutely delicious! It was perfectly cooked and full of flavor.
Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a romantic setting with great food. :)

We come many years in the row to celebrate something special as we love the location and ambiance. However, we noticed that service declined. I must admit we are picky meat eaters and every time main meat is a total disappointment. Five pieces of duck, or lamb, or beef for the price of $50 is simply not worth it. The taste is plain, dry or undercooked. If we come back, we would not order any main, it's a waste of money. The best options on the menu is charcuterie and sea food plate. Desserts are nice too. The service is mediocre, if there's a large party your table will struggle. Asked for a nice table by the fireplace for a birthday celebration after a busy work day - we're seated at the middle of the restaurant between 2 large groups, not fun! Waited for the first drink to arrive for 30 mins! Every restaurant before i went and mentioned Bday - always got a free dessert! Night out for 2 for $300$ could've waive the ice cream, sorry! Not sure if we want to come back again soon.

I like to explore new upper end restaurants and theis ranks well with Bow valley Ranche, hy's steakhouse, flores and pine... Great menu, service and ambience for a special night out

Danica was our server and was very courteous, efficient and knowledgeable about the menu! What an engaging employee! We thoroughly enjoyed the Entrees of Mussels and the Fish and Chips. Our desserts were delicious! The views of Bonivasta Lake are beautiful! I highly recommend The Lake House!

The service and ambiance was excellent. The mushroom soup was outstanding but the lamb as the main course was disappointing - despite ordering medium it was underdone and very difficult to chew in spots. Aside from the lamb the experience was very good, mainly due to the friendly and attentive staff.

We have been coming to the Lake house since it opened and have almost always had a stand out meal. The service is typically outstanding. Last night was very poor service. There was a large table next to us so that was obviously the issue. None the less we did not receive good service. No bread offered. No specials mentioned. We sat with menus for an extended time. We waited for drinks for an extended time. Our appetizers came at different times, even when asked when the second item was coming it was a significant wait (oysters). My husband got a sliver in his tongue from a toothpick shedding into a food item and had to go to the washroom to pick it out. We ordered second glasses of wine that we had to ask about and arrived after we'd finished our food. I requested some more horse radish which didn't arrive. Our water glasses were empty most of the time. We waited for our bill for a long time. Yes it was busy and the support staff helped out a lot. We still left a generous tip because it's 2026 and people deserve a large tip. Really disappointed in the service, this was a meal to celebrate some personal goals and it was not the experience we have come to know.

The Lake House just has a wonderful view, a great place for lunch or dinner. The lunch food choices have good options and the food we ordered was delicious. Very good service as well.

We visited for New Year’s dinner and enjoyed the food and service, but the evening lacked some of the festive touches we were expecting. With a bill of over $800 for four people, a countdown or a glass of champagne would have made the experience feel more special.
