I do not recommend coming here. Extremely racist place full service.
We had a fabulous experience from beginning to end. We came after a play and on a Sunday afternoon and they were able to accommodate us without a reservation. Our server was fantastic he walked us through the menu and answered all the questions that I had about the restaurant. We did the Sunday dinner menu. What a fabulous value! It is $45 per person and is served family style. We reserved a soup, salad, lasagna, chicken legs, seasonal veggies and two desserts. Each course was delicious and provided a great variety. The server told us about their water program with a different charity receiving the funds each month. There was no pressure to buy the water - we did but the two tables beside us did not and there was no difference in service.
The courses were brought out at a good pace. We didn't feel rushed but we were left waiting.
The aesthetic was gorgeous and added to the enjoyment of our meal.
Had a great brunch experience just today. We had some local beer and an incredible plate of cinnamon buns with blueberries and cream cheese frosting. Main course for me was the eggs Benedict. It was excellent. Hope to get back again.
Discriminatory Experience
I strongly advise against going to this restaurant. I called 25–30 minutes before arriving to ask if they had space for a reservation. They told me there was availability and that it would be no problem to come in.
However, when I arrived, the tone completely changed. Despite having just told me they had room, the staff now claimed they had no space and said I would need to wait a week to make a reservation. Meanwhile, I watched them continue to seat other customers. It immediately felt like I was being treated differently—and unfairly.
I asked them to explain, especially since I had driven 25 minutes based on their confirmation. They kept insisting I’d need to call back in a week. At that point, it was clear something was off. I told them this didn’t make sense and felt like I was being singled out. The response I got felt dismissive and scripted.
I said to them directly, “This sounds like a bunch of B.S. You’re allowing some people in and refusing others.” After pushing back and pointing out how contradictory and suspicious the situation was, the staff member—now visibly nervous—suddenly changed her response and said, “Okay, actually, we can seat you tomorrow.” keep in mind. Her tone started to change once. I started recording this interaction on my phone. Then all of a sudden instead of telling me to contact them back in a weak. Then she said oh. It looks like I can do tomorrow. Once I started recording, so that tells you all you need to know that me recording. Started to add accountability cause. She knew everything she was saying just did it add up. Everything was inconsistent and convictory.
So first, I was told to wait a week. Then, after calling them out, I could magically get a spot the next day?
It didn’t end there. I later called back to request the names of the staff involved so I could report the incident to the Alberta Human Rights Commission. They refused to give me any names, got aggressive on the phone, and eventually canceled my reservation altogether. Every time I called, they were rude, dismissive, and evasive.
This experience made it clear to me: this restaurant practices racial discrimination. They choose who they want to serve and who they don’t. If you’re a person of color or someone who values fair and respectful treatment, be cautious about supporting this business.
Also once I realized what was going on and all the conditioner and stumbling on their words and inconsistent things that they were telling me. I took a video so I will be adding that to my report as well. I did record my conversations with them.
Our server Wendy was awesome. She had great recommendations for food and an awesome personality. From cocktails, to appetizers to our meal everything was well done and flavorful.
Very, very slow service. Food was average. Told that one dish held up our order. The rest of the food obviously sat until that dish was ready. Tried to charge an auto-tip of 20% on an 8 people reservation including 20% on 2 bottles of already highly marked up wine so that worked out to about 3 times retail price. The auto tip was reversed but only after complaining. Won’t be back but I’m sure they don’t really care.
Gosh superb busy Wednesday lunch time….has to schedule more servers to work. We were waiting for AN HOUR before could even order just because our server didn’t come to us. There was no loud music however the space built the way that it is just super noisy, I literally cannot hear person seating next to me because she has soft voice. I personally had to almost scream talking to people across the table. It was exhausting.
The only good thing about this place is lemonade. Rich sour-sweet flavor! Never tried better!
Food is pretty average and portions are small. Grilled cheese with roasted tomato soup is not fulfilling enough. I would recommend to grill bread on salted butter because it’s missing salty flavor. Cheese is almost tasteless. Nothing special... And I was so excited to try this one though…
All day after lunch I had bad feeling in my stomach.
Get the burger . Do it . Old fashioned id great too
Visited the Nash for brunch last weekend for the first time. The food was excellent, however the service was quite disappointing. We had an issue arise with our server upon order two spirit-free caesar's and two with alcohol. When the drinks arrived at the table we had questioned the server about which drinks had no alcohol. Typically virgin caesar's are served in a pint glass, so when they arrived at the table in cocktail glasses, we asked to clarify which ones had no alcohol. The server said the drinks in the cocktail glasses had no alcohol, so trusting the server we tried the drinks. Immediately we knew the two "spirit-free" drinks had alcohol. When the server returned to the table we had asked her if she could double check with the bartender, to which she replied "No, I'm 100% sure." The server did not make the drinks so there's no way she can be 100% sure. So we didn't drink the beverages as one of us was pregnant. And then we were still charged for the drink. The service was long, and disappointing.

"The Nash was a fantastic dining experience! Katie, our server, was exceptional in handling my dairy allergy and ensured I had the perfect meal. Her service was attentive and timely without hovering – truly top-notch.
The food was beautifully plated, and every dish our group ordered was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor.
Well done to Katie and the entire Nash team!
Highly recommend."

Celebrated a friend’s birthday at The Nash. We were seated at a lovely table by the fireplace. The atmosphere is wonderful and the food was great. I had the fish and chips and it was delicious. Our server was amazing. Very helpful and attentive. Highly recommend.

Had their Sunday dinner $45.00 head amazing value great service. Nice calm high end place. I would book their Sunday dinner soon because I can’t see how they make money on this. It’s a fixed menu served family style we were a family of 4 including some very picky eaters none of us would change a thing.

Always love the Nash. Tonight we asked to split the bill. Server didn’t like it. Seems a bit weird for a high end restaurant.
