The Other Side Sports Pub

Let me start by saying the servers at this pub work their butts off! This place is consistently understaffed which is NOT the servers fault!
Let's talk food. It has to be some of the worst pub food I've ever had. The steak is either under cooked or grilled beyond recognition! It's tough and flavorless. The chicken stripe are cheap processed white meat and not chicken breast cutlets. Honestly McDonald's chicken nuggets taste better. I ordered spring rolls because after several tries at this place i thought there's no way they could screw it up. I was wrong, they arrived cold, freezing cold! The inside of the spring rolls were ice cold to the touch! Their pickle chips are disgusting! We will never eat here again!

Had a great time

While staying at the hotel wanted to stop by for happy hour. There was one table with a couple gentlemen and 1 at the bar. While waiting for a waitress we could here them chatting to each other. After about 5 to 10 mins we got up and left. And could here them laughing as we left. So I have no opinions on the food or the atmosphere as we weren't there long enough. If there were busy i would understand.

Came here for my partners pool, and the waitress took our order about 5 minutes after arriving. My partner got a chicken burger and I got the pork ribs, we both ordered cokes with lemons. Cokes came out with limes and not lemons, not a big deal. Then his food came out after 10-15 minutes since ordering, my food wasn’t out yet. I waited 15 more minutes before finally finding our waitress who was wiping down tables to ask her about my food order. She asked what I ordered and didn’t remember and after I told her the ribs she took off. I waited another 20 minutes before seeing her when she finally brought out my food. Not ince did she apologize for forgetting about my order or for how long it took. After eating she never returned to see if we needed refills or anything else. Forgetting an order can happen but to not even acknowledge it or apologize after it happened and I was never rude about it too is terrible customer service. Will not return unless I have to for his pool. So in the end after arriving at 6:55, I finally got to start eating at about 7:55 ish five or take 3 minutes.

We had dinner there while staying at Hotel Blackfoot. It was good. Poutine was great. We had the Club and French dip. Both were great.

HANDSDOWN the BEST WINGS IN CANADA!!!! Just had 3 types of wings , hot, sweet chili and charcoal mesquite and ALL OF THEM ARE AMAZING!!! Burger was okay and nacho not my fave but I will always go there for the wings - we did take out as not on delivery app...well worth the trip. Everybody is now a fan of them and all said how much they loved them. Trust me, order the wings...absolutely amazing tastes , our permanent wing place from now on for sure!!!! Great cooking!!!!!

Great place to go for a night out. Also a great place for before or after visiting the comedy club next door.

Do not go here if you want to play VLTs, they have regulars who come and dont like it when you win. It's unfortunate because we were willing to spend some money here and they clearly chose their regular when he was nasty, He came after us and everyone took his side . He didn't like we were winning and made fun of VLTs. It was a sad experience .
So if you're staying for a few days, it's all good.
Just don't go to the sports bar, they have their favorites and it won't be you . Food and service is good if you're part of their group

Been coming here before laugh shop show a few times now. Just recentlyfew ladies came here ,new waiter she kept forgetting to give, the other ladies thier drink. When we received steak this time one lady had hair in her food . Waiteress took it did not say anything to her. Was taken back to the kitchen. When we got the bill we were charged wrong. The other waiterres had to correct the bill and correct the order that was complained about the hair.

Recommended dishes: Blackfoot Nachos

Avoid this place if you can. Lackluster food, inexperienced/untrained staff and mostly awkward seating at small round bistro tables for two. I’m not adverse to dive bars but this place would have to improve immensely to be one. If you’re looking for decent food in the area, try Prairie Dog on the other side of Blackfoot Trail.

Had the nachos and my friend had the tacos and donair bites. The nachos were above par, the chips were fresh and tasty. However the cheese was a bit spare for the amount of chips. Since the chips were so crunchy with out the cheese to put some moisture into the chips it became painful to bite into them after awhile. The fresh not pickled jalapenos were a nice surprise. My friend liked the donair bites and thought the tacos were okay but bland. I like my salsa mild, but he was disappointed there was no kick to it. Servers were great.
