Absolutely love this place! The pasta is phenomenal and the portion sizes are really good. It's a great date night place to go especially if you are looking for comfort foods. I rarely finish a full meal because their meals are so filling. The service is usually pretty good, but sometimes the staff get to chatting and can seem to ignore/not notice that tables need refills or orders. The interior is cozy and has a unique, but comforting feel. Their prices are average for the meals, but the quality is really good. As soon as you walk in the smell hits you and your stomach growls immediately (smells good). Highly recommend.

I had chicken parm hubby had veal cutlets, everything was amazing! Server was fun and made our first visit there so enjoyable! Are you looking for a nostalgic 70s vibe and fantastic food? The Place is where it's at. I take my mom here every so often, and she tells me stories about The Place back in the 70s when there was a juke box in the corner. Seriously, it hasnt changed a whole lot since back then, and it works.The ceasar salad is the most simplistic but delicious combination. I don't know what it is.The food is hearty, and you will need a to go container given the portions. The pizza is on point, and you'd be happy with whatever combo you choose. They do pasta incredibly well, I chose the chicken Parmigiano, and the server recommended I have it baked with the marinara sauce and spaghetti - no regrets with this choice. The marinara is so flavourful and homemade!My mom chose the veal with a baked potato and there was no way she was finishing that plate. I think she got 2 more meals out of it!The service is wonderful, authentic and friendly. You know it's a good place when people come in and the server knows their names. Life isn't like that very often.Take a chance and visit The Place. It's family friendly too!

So good we went two nights during our two night stay in Calgary.First night I had steak and my wife had chicken Parmalat with baked potato. Both enjoyable and steak cooked to perfection. Next night I had an amazing pizza with thin crust and wife had the lasagne baked. Again great food.

Just moved to Bow Crescent a few days ago….googled restaurants near me! The place came up with decent reviews so we gave it a go! When I went to pick up my order it was drastically more expensive than their website menu. When i called the guy laughed at me and said “sorry, I don’t know, nothing I can do” I just moved in less than a block away, and we eat out out 3-4 times a week! Your loss, I won’t be ordering from here again!
